Everything YOU need to know before you travel to Boston Massachusetts in the USA. Boston is the hub of New England, in the Northeast of the United States. You’ll likely be flying in to Boston Logan International Airport, which is just a short 3 miles away from Boston. 40 airlines that serve Boston, and 3 hotels onsite

Spring often has lots of rain.
Biggest Holidays are St Patrick’s Day and the Boston Marathon

English.. But the Boston accent is pretty thick, and there’s some interesting local slang
Not everyone has the Boston Accent… but you’ll definitely hear it
8 - Wicked Wifi
I mentioned Wifi means good… Wicked Wifi is the cities metropolitan wifi network. The SSID is “WickedFreeWifi”
9 - Hotels
Boston is old, and so are the hotels and AirBNBs. If you are expecting an elevator and A/C, call to check in advance.
10 - Universities
More than 20 colleges in Boston alone… and Harvard, and MIT which are technically not in Boston, but in Cambridge across the river.
140,000 college students call Boston home.
Makes for lots of cheap eats, and nightlife options.

How to Follow the Freedom Trail | Boston Travel
Watch more How to Visit Boston videos:
Learn how to follow The Freedom Trail, a 2.5 mile historical route through Boston, in this Howcast travel video. You'll learn where the trail begins and the sights you'll see along the way, like the Old State House, Fanueil Hall, the Paul Revere House, and the Bunker Hill Monument. You can do the trail on foot or by trolley, on your own or with a tour guide. Just don't miss it!
The Freedom Trail is a 2.5 mile historical route through Boston marked by a red line and brick path. It winds through the city covering 16 historic sites from America's colonial past and two and a half centuries of American History. The trail starts at Boston Common, a 50-acre park which is America's oldest park. Cattle grazed there up until 1830, and until 1817 the park was the site of public hangings. The trail then heads north where it visits the site of the Boston Massacre, which got its name from patriots like Samuel Adams, who used the word to describe a riot between the colonists and British soldiers in 1770. The trail continues on to other sites including the Old State House, Fanueil Hall, and the Paul Revere House. The Paul Revere House is the oldest building in Boston and was the home of Paul Revere from 1770 to 1800. The trail ends at the Bunker Hill Monument on Breed Hill in Charlestown, the site of the first major battle of the Revolution. Maps for the Freedom Trail can be downloaded online so you can easily do the tour on foot without a guide. But there are also lots of official and unofficial tour guides who take visitors to the 16 exhibits by foot or trolley every day of the year.

Boston's Neighborhoods : The Back Bay
- Beginning in 1857 and continuing until 1880, Boston's Back Bay neighborhood was created entirely by man. The body of water separating Boston from Brookline was filled, adding 450 acres of land to the city of Boston. Today it stands as one of the Boston's premiere neighborhoods. Marked by historic and exclusive boulevards, such as Newbury Street and Commonwealth Avenue , the Back Bay is home to the northern portion of the city's Emerald Necklace, the green space that threads its way through the inner core of the city.
The Back Bay is one of the busiest retail sections of Boston, with a thriving commercial center along Boylston Street and Newbury Street, which include the nearby enclosed shopping malls at the Shops at Prudential Center and Copley Place
The Back Bay's borders are encompassed by the Charles River, Massachusetts Avenue, and the Boston Public Garden. Known for its exclusive real estate, abundance of spas, high end retail stores, art galleries, cafes and architecturally significant brownstones, Back Bay is also one of the prettiest neighborhoods in the entire country. The residential streets of Back Bay are some of the best preserved examples of late 19th century urban architecture in the entire country.
Grab a bite to eat at one of the many restaurants or outdoor cafes lining Newbury Street. Day and night, summers bring crowded patios and leisurely lunches and dinners al fresco, with some of the best people watching vantage points in town. Some of America's top retail stores and art galleries dot Newbury Street from Arlington Street down to Massachusetts Avenue.
There is plenty of green space in the Back Bay. Stroll down the Commonwealth Avenue Mall to view the blocks and blocks of brownstones, statues and memorials and residents walking their beautiful dogs. The mall connects the Public Garden to the Fens.
Created in 1837, the Boston Public Garden is one of Boston's great attractions and America's first botanical garden. Admire the rich and unusual plantings, over 80 species are cultivated for future plantings, the Lagoon, monuments and fountains. And of course, the Swan Boats on the lagoon, which has operated for over 100 years.
The Charles River Esplanade is home to the famous Hatch Shell and it's regular summertime concerts, including the annual Fourth of July celebration with the Boston Pops. The bike path runs 23 miles along the banks of the Charles River.
Community Boating is the oldest continuously operating community sailing program in the United States. Offering sailing and windsurfing instruction, members are allowed to use their Cape Cod Mercury boats on the Charles River.
Copley Square is anchored by the Fairmount Copley Plaza Hotel, The Boston Public Library, a leading example of Beaux-Arts architecture in the US, The Old South Church, and The 60 story dark blue glass John Hancock Tower.
And of course, there's Trinity Church, founded in 1733, designed by Henry Hobson Richardson. Trinity Churchg is the only building in Boston that has been honored as one of the Ten Most Significant Buildings in the United States by the American Institute of Architects.
The First Church of Christ, Scientist is The Mother Church and headquarters of the Christian Science Church. Designed by famed architect I.M. Pei, the 14 acre plaza includes a reflecting pool and fountain that makes it one of Boston's most visually recognizable sites.
Some of Boston's finest museums are located in the Back Bay. The Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum is modeled after the Renaissance palaces of Venice, Italy. The building surrounds a glass covered garden courtyard, the first of its kind in America. The Museum of Fine Arts is one of the largest museums in the United States, and offers one of the most comprehensive art collections in the Americas.
Symphony Hall was built in 1900 for the Boston Symphony Orchestra, and is considered, acoustically, one of the top three concert halls in the world. It is also home to the famous Boston Pops Orchestra & the Handel and Hayden Society.
The Back Bay offers some of Boston's premier real estate. From the early Victorian Houses on Commonwealth Avenue, dating back to around 1860, to townhouse condominiums, prewar buildings and some of the newer, full services buildings such as the Four Seasons Place, The Heritage and LeJardin, One Charles, and the Carlton House Residences, all located on the Public Garden. Located near the Prudential Center, The Mandarin Oriental and Belvedere Residences are centrally located in the heart of Back Bay. The Clarendon, across from the Hancock Tower and Trinity Place, overlooking Copley Square also offer prime locations and luxurious amenities.

4K City Walks: Whitefish Montana virtual treadmill walking tour
It's winter and we take a morning walk in Whitefish, MT. Whitefish is a little town in the northwest of Montana known for its ski hill, Big Mountain, and proximity to Glacier National Park. It's a pretty little town and friendly too. There are several great restaurants and breweries as well as boutiques, galleries, hotels, and coffee shops. It gets slammed with tourists in the summer but in the winter it's very peaceful. They do a great job with holiday lights. In fact, I considered walking at night but the downtown is so small that most of the rest of the walk would have been in the dark.
You can also catch a train to and from Whitefish and that is where we start and end our walk. In 4k Video.
Whitefish is located at an altitude of 3,028 feet (923 m). The town is located on the western side of the continental divide, near Glacier National Park.
It is a city in Flathead County, Montana, United States. The population was 6,357 at the 2010 census. It is home to a ski resort on Big Mountain called Whitefish Mountain Resort.
The Great Northern Railway was built through what is now Whitefish in 1904, which sparked development of the town. The area was originally known as Stumptown due to the abundant amount of timber that had to be cleared to build the town and railroad and because tree stumps were left in the streets throughout downtown. Early residents of the town worked for the railroad and nearby logging industries. By the late 1940s, with the successful construction of a ski resort on Big Mountain (a collaboration among local businessmen) the tourism sector was becoming increasingly important. The community was named for its location near Whitefish Lake.
In 2006, over 68,000 passengers embarked and disembarked through the historic Whitefish Depot, a stop on Amtrak's Empire Builder line, with some percentage of those being headed to the ski resort on Big Mountain.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 11.80 square miles (30.56 km2), of which, 6.43 square miles (16.65 km2) is land and 5.37 square miles (13.91 km2) is water.

We Traveled to LIMA, PERU ( 2019) | This is what we learned
Peru Guide ( con subtitulos)
*NOTE & Correction - Pisco Day is the 4th Sunday of July and it happens to fall on July 28th this year.
In our visit to South America, our travels takes us first to Lima, Peru. It's our first time in Lima and it completely did not disappoint.

Thank you for joining us!
⭐⭐ LIMA RECOMMENDATIONS⭐⭐
1. Since Peru is known for its food, take a cooking class or a food tour with a local. There are several you could book online. This was on our list, but unfortunately due to bad weather on our trip into Lima we missed a day and missed our cooking class.
2. Definitely visit Parque del Amor. A gorgeous park is in the Miraflores neighborhood. Excellent spot to catch a sunset, soak up the positive energy and even capture some incredible photos.
3. Take a nice drive ( 4 hours) to Huacachina and experience the incredible Sand Dune buggy and Sand Surfing. Great little shops in the area and wonderful spots to eat lunch.
4. If you're going to be in Huacachina, stop at a the restaurant/winery called El Catador in ICA. The food and drinks are delicious. We tried a native dish Carapulcra Sopa Seca and Carapulcra Arroz Verde.
5. Boat Tour to the Ballestas Island to see the Penguins and incredible birds and wildlife. ( VERY touristy and can get VERY busy so get there early.
6. In Miraflores, the malecon runs along the coast for miles. You'll see many people out either running, walking, biking. There's even a dog park and playgrounds. So something or everyone.
7. Visit Plaza de Armas both during the day and at night. The churches and other buildings are spectacular. You can also visit the San Francisco Church and the famous catacombs there.
At night Plaza de Armas is stunning visual treat.
See the oldest fountain in Lima, Peru there and if yo ugoing to be traveling to Lima in July..on July 26th they fill the fountain with Pisco for everyone to drink. ( BONUS)
8. The place in Lima we had Ceviche was called Sabor a Peru in the City Center..not our favorite but we did have it at night, and apparently you should have Ceviche during the day and certainly by lunch time. We weren't impressed with the restaurant but that's just our opinion.

History: The Pilgrims Journey Documentary
Impacts of the English in the New World ( Pilgrims )
Some 100 people, many of them seeking religious freedom in the New World, set sail from England on the Mayflower in September 1620. That November, the ship landed on the shores of Cape Cod, in present-day Massachusetts. A scouting party was sent out, and in late December the group landed at Plymouth Harbor, where they would form the first permanent settlement of Europeans in New England. These original settlers of Plymouth Colony are known as the Pilgrim Fathers, or simply as the Pilgrims.

Google Maps Route:
Enjoy this walk of Jersey City, New Jersey, only a short ride away from the NYC borough of Manhattan. I stick to the waterfront, visiting Newport, Hudson Exchange, and Exchange Place.
From Wikipedia
Jersey City is the second most populous city in the U.S. state of New Jersey, after Newark. It is the seat of Hudson County as well as the county's largest city. As of 2018, the Census Bureau's Population Estimates Program calculated that Jersey City's population was 265,549, with the largest population increase of any municipality in New Jersey since 2010, an increase of about 9.4% from the 2010 United States Census, when the city's population was at 247,597, ranking the city the 78th-most-populous in the nation.
Part of the New York metropolitan area, Jersey City is bounded on the east by the Hudson River and Upper New York Bay and on the west by the Hackensack River and Newark Bay. A port of entry, with 30.7 miles (49.4 km) of waterfront[34] and extensive rail infrastructure and connectivity, the city is an important transportation terminus and distribution and manufacturing center for the Port of New York and New Jersey. Jersey City shares significant mass transit connections with Manhattan. Redevelopment of the Jersey City waterfront has made the city one of the largest centers of banking and finance in the United States and has led to the district being nicknamed Wall Street West.
After a peak population of 316,715 measured in the 1930 Census, the city's population saw a half-century-long decline to a nadir of 223,532 in the 1980 Census. Since then, the city's population has rebounded, with the 2010 population reflecting an increase of 7,542 (+3.1%) from the 240,055 counted in the 2000 Census, which had in turn increased by 11,518 (+5.0%) from the 228,537 counted in the 1990 Census.
