Oharai-machi is a street that extends north for approximately 800m from the Ujibashi Bridge in front of the Naiku (Ise Inner Shrine). There are many stores lining the stone paved road and the area is always alive with activity.

伊勢神宮の参拝後。
お楽しみ。
おはらい町とおかげ横丁で食べますよ。
たくさんの飲食店や、お土産屋さんが並んでいます。
多くの人で賑わっています。
まずは酒屋さん。
立ち飲みしました。
次は地ビール。
食べたのは、コロッケと飛龍頭。
どちらもおいしい。
伊勢ですから。
伊勢うどんも食べました。
そして、最後にもう一軒。
酒屋に寄って酒をもう一杯飲んで終了。
After worship at the Ise Shrine.
Enjoy.
Oharai machi and Okage yokocho.
There is a lot of eateries ,and a lot of souvenir shop.
It is crowded with a lot of people.
I went to the liquor store first.
I drank Sake.
Then I drank the beer.
I did eat, Hiryozu and croquettes.
Both delicious.
Because it is Ise.
I ate also Ise udon.
Then, I went to another location.
I drank another cup of Sake by the liquor store.

Mie Oharai Machi and Okage Yokocho - おはらい町/おかげ横丁- 4K Ultra HD : Oharai Machi (Oharaimachi) is the old 1 km long approach to the Ise Grand Shrine Naiku. With restaurants, shops and many old traditional buildings, Oharai Machi businesses have been serving customers, tourists and pilgrims for several centuries and as long as Ise Grand Shrine Naiku has existed.
While Oharai Machi is full of history and surprise, a recent addition to this street is yet another big success among tourists because of its many stores and restaurants : Okage Yokocho. Completed in 1993 and designed to represent a small town during the Edo Period, Okage Yokocho is definitively worth a visit and will surprise you with its authentic charm.

Visit Ise 伊勢にようこそ
オーストラリアからの友人カップルを伊勢に迎えた時の記念ムービー。ゲストハウス風見荘でのサプライズから始まり、伊勢神宮をはじめとする主要観光地を案内しました。おかげ横丁の豚捨メンチカツや伊勢うどん、山内牛乳等のグルメを堪能した他、彼女の人生初となる馬刺にも挑戦しています。伊勢神宮参拝では手水場での手洗いや礼拝の作法、神宮式年遷宮(20年おきの神宮建替え)の由来など、日本の文化にも触れてもらいました。このビデオが二人の思い出になれば嬉しいです。

This is a memorial movie I made for Hiro and Sara, my friends from Australia, when they traveled in my hometown Ise, Japan. We did a surprise without letting Sara know that I am there in Kazamisou which is the only one guest house at the moment in Ise city. We tried many local foods such as Ise-Udon (Ise's iconic local noodle with soy sauce based sauce), Butasute-menchi-katsu(Famous mince croquette), Yamamura-Gyunyu (Local milk brand) and Sara even tried her first time horse sashimi! We learned a lot about Japanese culture at Shrine (Bowing when going through the Torii gates, washing hands for purification, how to pray, etc.) I hope this video always reminds us of our beautiful memory of Ise.
