Explanation of a god's Ohkuninushi-no-mikoto mainly in Ohkunitama shrine by quotation from Kojiki.
Introduction of Reference All-father are Ohkuninushi-no-mikoto and the father Kotoshiro-no-mikoto of an empress of the first Emperor Jinmu, and Sukunahikona of Sugawara-no-Michizane's tutelary deity. Ohkuninushi-no-mikoto is younger brother's grandchild generation of a general tutelary deity. Kotoshiro-no-mikoto is a child of Ohkuninushi-no-mikoto. Amatsuhikone-no-mikoto is a general tutelary deity child as tutelary deity of Ohomi family. Then the first Emperor's the first lawful wife is not Izumo family, and Nakatomi family of Fujiwara family's ancestor is not also Izumo family. It's because it seems if Amenokoyane-no-mikoto of Nakatomi family's ancestor is Shinto priest or a music player of Emperor from Kojiki. Nakatomi-no-kamatari in mainly central kyoto Yamashina or Harima-no-kuni and present kobe city finishes Chinese studying abroad and returns home moderately in the 7th century, and Fujiwara government establishes after that. Sugawara-no-Michizane is called Izumo-no-Omi for Izumo Kunino-Miyatsuko descendant. But he is a descendant of general tutelary deity with Fujiwara family and Nakatomi-no-Kamatari was given the Fujiwara-no-Asomi(Eponymous name) to death, and it's same of course. Iwaki family(Asomi) is the first Emperor Jinmu descendant with 14th generation grandchild from Amatsuhikone-no-mikoto, and it's same of course as a mainly family line. The descendant of the Amatsuhikone-no-mikoto similar becomes Kunino-Miyatsuko throughout the country, and Kunino-Miyatsuko Saegusa family of Yamashiro country(Southern Kyoto) with Kawauchi country(Southeastern Osaka) are often learned about as Kunino-Miyatsuko Saegusa family descendant after 4th century. Founding a shrine of Saenazumi shrine in central western Ibaraki prefecture is also descendant of Saegusa family, and it's the descendant family of Amatsuhikone-no-mikoto of course. Kawauchi country (Southeastern Osaka) are also learned about as the ancestral family district of Minamoto-no-Yoriyoshi and Yoshiie of Seiwa Genjii after Heian period, and it's learned about as the ancestral family similar of Minamoto-no-Yoritomo after Kamakura period especially.
It's said that there were eighty brothers of difference mother who are elder eighty brothers of one god in the All-father and Ohkuninushi-no-mikoto in Ohkunitama shrine in the posterity. They are called common name eighty gods, and they woo a princess in Inaba country and eastern Tottori prefecture. But eighty god tries to kill Ohkuninushi because a princess was answered that it will be a wife of Ohkuninushi. A mother of Ohkuninushi who knew that advises to escape to Izumo country and present northern Shimane prefecture. After that SUSANOU in Izumo suggests that SUSERIBIME of a daughter of SUSANOU will be a wife of Ohkuninushi soon, and gives a trial to Ohkuninushi, but SUSERIBIME gives all talisman to escape from every trials to Ohkuninushi, and Ohkuninushi escapes from a trial to the next from the next. Then SUSERIBIME will think Ohkuninushi died of the last trial, and walks to the field where Ohkuninushi would be here while crying. But Ohkuninushi escapes safely from a trial. After that it'll be the king who gets help of SUSANOU and governs Izumo country. (Refer to Kojiki)
Explanation of Ohmiwa shrine and Izumo taisha(shrine) It's often learned that the formalized shrine built first in Japan is Ohmiwa shrine in Nara. Mountain worship makes the major power center a god's Ohkuninushi-no-mikoto mainly at a source. Only Mountain deity's shrine was built the time of the Miwa political power in the 3rd century Nara. Miwa government claims Izumo-no-Omi(Asomi) family by a descendant of Ohomi family as legitimate child's posterity of the first Emperor Jinmu. But these prove the fact that descendant's Izumo-no-Omi of Ohomi family got a rite right in Izumo taisha in a main shrine after the 3rd century. It seems the time after a while when Queen Himiko of Ohomi family with kibi family Kunino-miyatsuko(consular) in kibi country and present Okayama prefecture, and also dscendant of Amatsuhikone-no-mikoto controlled Izumo's rebellion and got a rite right in Izumo taisha. Queen Himiko is a descendant of Ohomi famiy in the 3rd century half, too. Sovereignty in Izumo country was controlled by an intrusion person from a continent mostly in 3rd century from 1st century AD, and a descendant of the first Emperor Jinmu was also taken by a rite right away actually to fake shinto priest besides Izumo family shinto priest. Then the time of the Miwa political power will continue to after 3rd middle in the 4th century. Ise Jingu(shrine) in Ise district and present Mie prefecture is often learned about at a domestic main shrine, but this is the shrine where a rite does a general tutelary deity when is formalized the second half in the 6th century during about 1st century AD.
