A lot of Japanese shopping streets and old districts seem pretty similar (or way out of price range) but Okage Yokocho (right in front of Ise Jingu) was really awesome! There were so many things to see and do, and the food was all amazing. :D Ise ebi was probably the only thing I couldn't handle--Japanese spiny lobster, served raw and still moving. :( But the rest of the food was amazing!! If you're in Mie prefecture, I definitely recommend a trip to Okage Yokocho!

たくさんの飲食店や、お土産屋さんが並んでいます。
多くの人で賑わっています。
まずは酒屋さん。
立ち飲みしました。
次は地ビール。
食べたのは、コロッケと飛龍頭。
どちらもおいしい。
伊勢ですから。
伊勢うどんも食べました。
そして、最後にもう一軒。
酒屋に寄って酒をもう一杯飲んで終了。

There is a lot of eateries ,and a lot of souvenir shop.
It is crowded with a lot of people.
I went to the liquor store first.
I drank Sake.
Then I drank the beer.
I did eat, Hiryozu and croquettes.
Both delicious.
Because it is Ise.
I ate also Ise udon.
Then, I went to another location.
I drank another cup of Sake by the liquor store.

We visited a town where the houses and buildings have been preserved to maintain to the image of old Japan. There were many little shops, restaurants and things to see. A great place to hang out and get the feeling of walking the streets of Old Japan. It has a similar feeling to Gion in Kyoto.
