Okayama International Circuit (岡山国際サーキット), named TI Circuit Aida (TIサーキット英田) until December 31, 2004, is a 2.301-mile (3.7 km) private motorsport race track in Mimasaka, Okayama Prefecture, Japan. TI was the abbreviation of Tanaka International after the name of the golf club owner, Hajime Tanaka, though the name of the circuit was officially TI Circuit Aida.
As well as hosting racing events, the circuit has rental facilities including bikes and go-carts available.

Beating Michael Shumacher's 1994 Hotlap at Okayama International GP Circuit In a modern F1 Car

I purchased Assetto Corsa around five-six months ago, and have driven a total of 4000km+ around Okayama alone (393.4Km in the car). After around 493 hours of experience, multiple mess-ups and missed opportunities, I finally got a CLEAN enough lap to record and share. I'm still unhappy with the time I got for the setup is tuned for the low 01:08:00's, but I just lack the skill at this point.
Hot lap was done with these conditions:
- Time: 12:00
- Weather: GoodBadWeather Suite version of the vanilla Clear
- 26.0 Degrees Celsius
- Optimum Track Grip
- No wind
- No assists
- Lap done with DRS/MGU
This track has the most meaning to me not only because of the time I've spent on it, but also because of the things I've learned about it. Okayama discontinued hosting future GP's after the 1995 Season, but had other league races up till now. It was refurbished in 2017 and is still an active road course!
Besides the very trivial facts about the track, learning about the corners and small elevation changes gave both layouts of the track a solid identity. Enough that I wanted to go out of my way and see the historic times set here, which, one of them was done by the legend himself.
I know that it is very unfair to realistically compare a time that a 24 year old F1 car set on this track to a modern F1 car, but I found the challenge to be very enticing.
Some may say AC isn't the best sim, RSS may not be good at making mods or whatever, but I just hope you guys just learned something new or enjoyed the hot lap that literally got me to understeer off the road afterwards, because of the feeling of accomplishment I had seeing my time.

F1優勝目指す野田樹潤さん 時速240キロのマシンを駆る小6女子
日本人女性初のF1レーサーをめざす小学6年生 野田樹潤(じゅじゅ)さん。身長145センチ体重30キロの体で、フォーミュラカーレースの最高峰F1の登竜門にあたるF4で走る。
デビュー戦となった今春の17歳以下の開幕戦で優勝。練習拠点の岡山県内のサーキットで、F4のコース記録をたたき出した。
元F1レーサーの父英樹さんの影響で、3歳でカートに乗り始めた。まだ小6だが、「車の状態を感じ、その力を感覚的に引き出せる」と父。走行中、無線マイクで「ここからが大事」と声が飛ぶ。
最高時速240キロ。体重の3倍以上の力がかかる。昨秋、コース脇に突っ込む事故で入院した。「初めて怖いと思ったけれど、やめたいとは思わなかった」
昨年ミキハウスとスポンサー契約を結び、今年6月には後援会もできた。日本人女性初のF1レーサーとして優勝するのが目標だ。

Lauf 1 wurde denkbar knapp in den letzten beiden Kurven entschieden. Andy Priaulx gewann verdient mit wenigen Metern Vorsprung. Augusto Farfus wurde Dritter. Das bedeutet für uns: auch wenn beide im zweiten Lauf ausfallen und wir gewinnen können wir nicht genügend Punkte sammeln, um bereits in Japan Meister zu werden. Dennoch können wir unser Punktepolster weiter ausbauen um so gelassener in das Macau-Wochenende starten zu können.

Circuit: Okayama International Circuit, formerly known as TI Circuit Aida before 2005, is a 3.7-kilometer private Motorsport race track in Mimasaka, Okayama Prefecture, Japan.
The course was opened in 1990 as a private race track for the wealthy. Soon, it hosted its first race, staged by veteran British drivers.
In 1994 and 1995, the TI Circuit hosted the Formula One Pacific Grand Prix; both events were won by Michael Schumacher in his early title-winning years. This race made Japan one of only seven countries to ever host more than one Formula One event in the same year. It was discontinued primarily due to its location in a remote area of Japan.
In March 2003, the Tanaka International Company, parent company of the official circuit owner TI Circuit Company, applied for civil rehabilitation. After the application, Unimat Holding Co., Ltd. announced that it would financially support the TI Circuit Company in keeping the facility open. The company was renamed Okayama International Circuit Co., Ltd. on May 1, 2004, and the circuit was renamed Okayama International Circuit on January 1, 2005.
On October 26, 2008, the circuit hosted a round of the Formula V6 Asia and FIA World Touring Car Championship. The WTCC race was the first FIA world championship race since 1995. However, it was announced on June 21, 2010 that Suzuka Circuit would host the Japan round of the 2011 WTCC season instead of the Okayama International Circuit.
