奥只見湖の遊覧船に乗ってきました。前泊で銀山平キャンプ場でテント泊、
周囲は新潟豪雨の絵今日で軒並み通行止めでしたが、
奥只見シルバーラインが復旧したのでなんとかダムまで行けました。
天気予報が大ハズレで降水確率70％が一気にド快晴になりました。

5月下旬から11月上旬までは湖上遊覧を楽しめます。

#JapanGuide - How beautiful is hydroelectric dam in Japan

The Okutadami Dam (奥只見ダム) is a concrete gravity dam on the Tadami River, 26 km (16 mi) east of Uonuma on the border of Niigata and Fukushima Prefectures, Japan. The primary purpose of the dam is hydroelectric power generation and it supports a 560 MW power station which is the largest conventional hydroelectric power station in Japan.The dam also forms the second largest reservoir in Japan, next to that of the Tokuyama Dam. We arrived at this dam in the beginning of November 2019, when the yellow leaves were most beautiful and the weather was comfortably cool.
