Historic Texas Cemetery Request For Designation with Gerron Hite
The video features Gerron Hite in Oak Grove Cemetery talking about the Historical Cemetery Designation Forms for the Texas Historical Commission on May 8th, 2009 funded by the Humanities Texas grant and the Center for Regional Heritage Research. Hite discusses the designation form with the workshop attendees. He tells the attendees how and where to find some of the information needed to fill out the historical cemetery designation form. He explains that having a copy of the cemetery's deeds records is a good idea. Hite talks about describing the cemetery on the form by writing down the landscape and name of cemetery. He also mentions that on the form an applicant would need to write a brief history of the cemetery and provide a bibliography. Hite discusses the cemetery surveys and how these form help document a cemetery. This workshop was not funded or organized by the Preserve America team, but contains pertinent information about cemetery preservation which relates to the goal of the Preserve America Grant.
abandoned ghost town: corydon, pennsylvania
this town was over a hundred years old when it was abandoned in 1965 as part of the kinzua dam project, and the site is now under the water of a bay of the allegheny river, in the allegheny national forest.
the cemetery is up the road a little ways, on a hill overlooking the river. while you actually have to cross the border into new york to get to the cemetery on the hill, the view of the river and surrounding hills is worthwhile.
it looks like some people tried to recreate the town by opening a few businesses a short distance east of the original site, maybe in hopes of attracting more people with similar ideas, but it didn't work out and there is an abandoned general store and some other remains there.
some people say there was a drought a few years back when the water receded to the point where the remains of the roads and buildings of the original town were once again visible above water for a while.

Creepy Cemetery EVP Voices
Creepy Cemetery-This is a compilation of EVPs captured on our visit to Elder Abner Ballou Cemetery in RI with our friends Charles Reis and Steve Moreau (ninjacthulhu here on You Tube).
Charles had promised to share with us one of the more memorable locations featured in their YT series, 'Creepy Places Of New England'. Charles, Steve nor this location failed to deliver on this night.
Many of the EVPs captured here have not been cleaned up or filtered to death. They have been purposely left as raw as possible so that the viewers may hear that the energies there came through strong enough to be heard on their own.
Also, some of the EVPs presented here do in fact sound like the female investigator on location that night. A faux pas on our presenting part, or perhaps mimicking of the investigator(s) by the spirits present?
We assure you that all we present here is to our knowledge what we believe to be Electronic Voice Phenomenon.
We welcome anyone's comments and ideas on any audio/technical engineering tool that can positively and without a doubt decipher the difference between living human speech and EVP.

Mindfield Cemetery, Brownesville
The Mindfield - Life of Billy Tripp
The Mindfield is the creation and life's work of Brownsville artist Billy Tripp. The structure was begun in 1989 and will continue to evolve until Billy's death, at which point it will become the site of his interment.
Included in the network of steel are individual pieces representing various events and periods of Billy's life, especially the death of his father, Rev. Charles Tripp, in 2002. The latest addition, a water tower salvaged from a defunct factory in Western Kentucky, was dismantled, transported to Brownsville, and reconstructed single-handedly by the artist. It now stands as a memorial to Billy's parents as well as a testimonial to his current life, his belief in the inherent beauty of our world, and the importance of tolerance in our communities and governmental systems.
Billy's book, The Mindfield Years, is a further representation of his life told through the voices of three main characters and their efforts to find meaning, purpose, and contentment in the existence to which they were born. Written in stream-of-consciousness style, the novel contains elements of short story, poetry, philosophy, and psychology intermingled into a multi-layered yet deceptively simple tale.

Journey back in time through cobbled streets of Philadelphia and uncover a wealth of national treasures – the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall and the U.S. Constitution to name a few. Nearby, Valley Forge puts the American Revolution into context at the National Center for American Revolution and Gettysburg is an important historical shrine. Visit an artist’s studio in the woods where Wharton Esherick, an important American artist and sculptor worked with wood - the studio he built is now a museum for his creations. Take a ride down scenic back roads through Covered Bridges and past Painted Barns (“advertising barns”), which tell their own stories about early America. Pittsburgh, a city once known for pollution, has changed direction and is becoming one of the cleanest cities in America. Go inside their new convention center to see what makes a building ‘green.' Meet hundreds of rare, exotic birds at the National Aviary. Farming is a way of life and agriculture is still the most important industry in the state. Modern dairy farmers tend to hundreds of acres of crops with huge harvesting equipment while their Amish neighbors perform the same tasks the old fashioned way - using only horses and mules.

Thy Wil Be Done - The Sunken Graves Of The Cradock Cemetery
A Documentary in Photo And Video
This is the story of an old colonial cemetery in the small town of Cradock in the Karoo in South Africa. The Karoo (a Khoisan word of uncertain etymology) is a semi-desert natural region of South Africa. Most of the area is used for sheep farming and Cradock is one of the chief centers of the wool industry.
Lieutenant Governor and war leader Andries Stockenstrom established this spot as the magisterial seat for the surrounding region in 1812. The area was chosen for being strategically located for the frontier wars.
The town was founded on 27 August 1818 when a Dutch Reformed church was built; it is named after Sir John Cradock, governor of the Cape from 1811 to 1813. Interestingly, the design of the Dutch Reformed Church building is based on that of St Martin-in-the-Fields in London.
In the 1830s the Great Trek began, as Afrikaans farmers who were discontent with British rule left en masse for the interior. Most of the migration departed from (and via) the area around Cradock
South Africa's old cemeteries are testimonies of the history of the first settlers who came to this country. They are the true witnesses of many young lives lost to the ideal of settling and making a fortune in another country.
But most of them are in a state of decay today and need emotional, physical and financial attention. The gravestones and their inscriptions still tell the stories of the ones they guard. But for how long?

Tripp's Mind Field - Brownsville, TN
Located in Brownsville, TN.
This is a rough edit of the video that I took on 9-23-07 of Billy Tripp's amazing work of art. Started in 1989, this work of art will surely continue to change and grow until he dies.
Upon his death, he has requested to be buried underneath the Mind Field.
Tripp's Mind Field is definitely worth a roadtrip to see.

Two Ghostly Figures Caught At Martha Chapel Cemetery On Google Maps
The first spirit is of a child peeking out from a tree and this is an clear image so we can see that this entity is greyish in appearance and if you decide to have a look for yourself using the coordinate that i have provided you can see the other people there and their skin tone is normal.
The second is of something hooded, dressed all in black by some gravestones and doesn't seem as if it belongs there.
Martha Chapel Cemetery is located in Huntsville, Texas & the coordinate was sent to me by someone who wishes to remain anonymous but because of this doesn't mean that this is fake as the only people the could have photoshopped these images would have to work for google maps and my source doesn't work for them.

Running By Cab Units at Carthage Junction - Nashville & Eastern RR
A Tennessee Central Railway Museum excursion is running from Nashville to Carthage Junction and back on the Nashville and Eastern Railroad, an R.J. Corman Shortline.
At Carthage Junction it takes a little shuffling to get the engines on the west end of the train for the return to Nashville. Stopping short of the switch the museum's cab units (an E Unit and two F7B) uncouple from the train and pull onto the branch. The remaining locomotive, an NERR B40-8, pulls the train east beyond the switch. The cab units pull the train west, and another shuffle puts the GE into the branch for another run-by.
The Nashville & Eastern is the portion of the Tennessee Central taken over by L&N after the TC bankruptcy in 1968.
