Kezmarok and Beliansky Rybnik | Slovakia 2016

In August 2016 I was fortunate enough to visit the lovely small Slovak town of Kezmarok as well as the nearby park of Beliansky Rybnik.

Kezmarok is a small town in Eastern Slovakia that's located on the Poprad River.

There's just under 17,000 people living in the city and it's definitely worth visiting to spend an hour or two wandering around the quiet and peaceful streets.

The Old Town is quite lovely with plenty of bright colored painted houses, a small square, plenty of small shops and restaurants, and there's even a castle at one end of the city.

Nearby to Kezmarok is a lake and the park of Beliansky Rybnik where I went for lunch and to enjoy a nice nature walk around the lake with a view of the Tatra Mountains.
