Fearing that his daughter is kidnapped, Tom (Charlie Sheen) fights MJ (Edward Moss) to rescue her... only, it isn't really MJ that he's fighting...
FILM DESCRIPTION:
While star Anna Faris returns for the third film in the Scary Movie series, the power behind the camera has shifted from the Wayans brothers to one of the Zucker brothers. The Zucker in question is David Zucker, and he's brought along his partner in movie-parody crime, Leslie Nielsen. This time around, aim is taken at such horror blockbusters as Signs and The Ring, while films of other genres, including Independence Day, 8 Mile, and The Matrix, are also lampooned. The plot finds Cindy (Faris) trying to help the president (Nielsen) thwart an alien attack while also facing crop circles and a mysterious video tape. In the spirit of the two Matrix sequels, Scary Movie 3 was shot back-to-back with Scary Movie 4. Queen Latifah, Charlie Sheen, and Eddie Griffin also star.

Nine People Choke to Death in Japan After Eating New Year's Rice Cakes
At least nine people have reportedly choked to death on New Year's rice cakes in Japan, and officials are urging people to chew slowly on the treats. Sticky rice cakes, or mochi, are an essential part of the Japanese New Year's holiday menu. But the glutinous mochi, grilled or cooked in broth or with sweet beans, can get stuck in people's throats, blocking breathing. The Tokyo Fire Department said Monday that 18 people were taken to city hospitals during the first three days of the year, and that three males died. In addition to the Tokyo deaths, The Yomiuri newspaper reported Friday, three people died in Chiba prefecture, while one each died in Osaka, Aomori and Nagasaki prefectures.

Tsutomu Yamaguchi died from stomach cancer. The cancer part perhaps isn’t surprising given that Yamaguchi is currently the only person officially recognized by the Japanese government as having lived through the atomic bombings of both Hiroshima and Nagasaki. (Note: There were actually well over a 100 or so others as well, perhaps as many as 165; they just have never been officially recognized by the Japanese government to date.) What is surprising, given that history, is that Yamaguchi avoided the disease for so long, not dying until January 4, 2010, at the age of 93.

The Farming of Bluefin Tuna | Foodbeast Doc
Did you know they are sustainably FARMING bluefin tuna in Japan in a sustainable and environmentally friendly way? With the rise in popularity of sushi, bluefin tuna has become a hot commodity around the world, to the point where they are now an endangered species. We went on a journey with FOODBEAST’s Analiese Trimber to visit the lab where they incubate the bluefin tuna eggs, the pens out in the Uwajima Sea where the bluefin tuna feed, live & are harvested, to the processing plant in Tokyo where they butcher & prepare the fish for restaurants, and back home in Southern California where we got to try the fish for the very first time.

Flowing Japanese Bamboo Noodles (Nagashi Somen)|Day 95 - Miyazaki
The spectacular steep walls of the Takachiho Gorge were formed by columnar jointing, due to the rapid cooling of an ancient lava flow that filled the narrow valley of the Gokase River after an eruption of the Mt. Aso volcano.
The Takachiho Gorge was designated a National Scenic and Natural Monument in November 10, 1934.
