Olde Rope Mill Park 18Dec2014
This is my favorite park in Woodstock. Good place to go fishing with the kids or an easy hike along the river, both paved and unpaved.
There are mountain bike trails all through this park as well. The last part of the video following the train tracks is for my little boy. He likes trains.
WARNING: These are active train tracks. DO NOT WALK ACROSS THE BRIDGE OR ALONG THE TRACKS.
Olde Rope Mill Park Explorer Trail Loop 3.
Did a quick video of the 3rd loop of the Explorer Trail. Its not too hard and not too technical. A nice little flow trail and a lot of fun.

MTB Avalanche at Rope Mill
Olde Rope Mill Park in Woodstock Georgia has two trail sets; Avalanche and Explorer. Avalanche is a fast winding single track through rolling hills and small pine forests with a few steep and rocky ledges overlooking the Little River. It is divided into 3 legs connected like a chain with the farthest leg running up against a narrow railroad bridge over the river.
It's a fun trail when dry. But in the rain or dark damp conditions with fall leaves on the ground it becomes a slick, sloppy, spider filled nightmare.

Railroad Bridge At Olde Rope Mill Park
Here's a short clip of the railroad bridge located upstream on Little River. To get there, cross over the bridge at the park then take the 1st path to your right. From there, keep hiking maybe 20 minutes and you will see the bridge. Its not recommended to go on the bridge as there have been several fatalities within the last 3 years there.

Fishing Georgia's Little River outside Atlanta
While vacationing just outside of Atlanta, I managed to get a few hours of fishing in. The nearest waterbody with promise was the Little River, at Olde Rope Mill Park. I encountered three different types of fish, to my knowledge. I caught two of those three.... the third species I saw, but did not manage to get a lure in front of them. No idea what it was.
The species I DID catch were most likely Spotted Bass and Bluegill. I have a newfound love for river fishing, and will attempt to catch decent fish from some NY rivers in the next year.

Rope Mill Park Bridge Little River to Waterfall Lake Allatoona Georgia
The Video starts from Rope Mill Bridge Park headed towards the waterfall on Lake Allatoona. From there we head towards Little River Marina where Bells Ferry Road crosses over the lake but take a break before the Marina. There is a very nice Public Boat landing on the opposite side of the bridge from Little River Marina.
