Bantayan Island Mangrove Eco Park
This is the best Mangrove Eco Park I've ever visit in my life, the locals are very nice. This is located in Barangay Oboob Bantayan Island. Today I learned the importance of mangrove in our Eco Environment, this is worth a visit.
Did you know that Mangroves help protect the land from the sea during cyclones and storms?
Mangrove habitats store more carbon than rainforests. Much of the carbon is in the mud.

4. Baigad Lagoon
It was my summer before coming back to Europe to complete the last year of my masters and I was determined to soak in all the Vitamin D and Vitamin SEA I can get before I head off to cold cold Sweden.
Thank you for spending some of your time with me here at Timmy Tries. See you on the next one!

OMAGIECA Mangrove Garden/Eco Park | Top Destinations to Visit in Bantayan Island, Cebu (Part 2)
The Obo-Ob Mangrove Garden or simply OMAGIECA is perhaps the most popular Bantayan Island tourist spot, thanks to a famous Filipino Movie called ‘Camp Sawi’ filmed at this location. But aside from the popularity brought by the film, this place offers a one-of-a-kind experience.
Omagieca Mangrove Garden & Boardwalk is a 20-minute drive west from Santa Fe along Obo-ob Marikaban Road.
Upon arriving at Obo-ob Mangrove Garden, you will have to pay the 50 pesos entrance fee. This includes access on foot to the bamboo boardwalk that leads in and around the mangroves.
You may also opt to go kayaking around the Omagieca Mangroves for an additional 150 pesos or go for a ride in a small wooden boat for 350 pesos. These Bantayan island activities are best done on high tide.

BANTAYAN ISLAND BEST HIDDEN BEACH | CEBU, PHILIPPINES
We visited the hidden beach of Bantayan Island, the Paradise Beach. It is truly hidden. A small raw walk way between wild trees was built for people to reach this hidden gem. It will take a approximate 20 minutes walk depending on how fast or slow you are in a rough path to reach the beach from the main street. This beach is one of the best beach we've been to in the Philippines. We recommend visiting it when in Bantayan Island.
