The city is located inside the mountainous area called Okutama 奥多摩 that spreads through part of Saitama Prefecture and western Tokyo.Tama river has very crystal clear water and Most people go on day trips to Ome to escape the bustle of the city.

Yushima Tenman-gū Ume(Plum) Festival【Full HD】
Yushima Tenman-gū Shrine (湯島天満宮) is a Shinto shrine in Tokyo, Japan devoted to Tenjin, the Kami of Learning. It is located in the Bunkyo ward of Tokyo, not far from the University of Tokyo, and is a frequent site of prospective students hoping to pass the entrance exams there in April. At this time, the temple receives many offerings of ema votives to petition the kami for success at exams.
Due to Tenjin's frequent association with plum trees, Yushima Tenmangu maintains an extensive grove of plum trees, and holds a yearly festival called ume matsuri (Plum Festival) in February or March depending on when the trees bloom.

Plum-Viewing Festival, Kairakuen, JAPAN
When the spring comes, plum blossoms come out.
Flash Mob michibiite kudasai@ Kabe River (GIFIC Ome)
Real flash happen during our Outdoor Sunday Worship Service held in the river of Kabe, Ome City. It was started with Praise & Worship songs followed by the Word of God (Parable of the Sower). Next the Flash Mob dance that attracted 7 Japanese nationals joining the dancing in the beat of Mitsubitte Kudasai (Every move I make). At the end of the day 6 people were Water Baptized (1 adult & 5 children) even though the water is freezing. God gave us favorable weather throughout the event (no rain & heat from the sun).
15.10.29 Oume(青梅), Japan(日本) (Part 2)
Part 2 of the hike up Mount Mitake in Japan. We are still in Tokyo (東京) prefecture and the Kanto (関東) area. As said in the previous episode; in the morning we woke up early to get to Mount Mitake (御岳山), where we can do a little hiking. This is one of the day trips that you can take from Tokyo, and is about a 45 minute train ride from Shinjuku (新宿). Getting to the mountain is pretty much where the previous movie ends.We continue onto the Nanayo Falls (七代の滝) via the Mount Mitake Shrine. Unfortunately, we were unable to see Tokyo from the top of the mountain because of the clouds/fog, but it was still a beautiful area. Finally, we descended via the Mitake Tozen Railway Cable Car (御岳登山鉄道). When we got back into Tokyo city, we had some sushi at a place introduced to us by Vloggers: Kyde & Eric (link below).

Walking Around Japan Pt.7 - Mitaka & Kamakura - 16 days in Japan 2016. I went to Mitaka to see the Ghibli museum, animation Studio Ghibli director Hayao Miyazaki, I walked from Kichijoji station down to Inokashira Park . you do need advance tickets to get into this museum, no photos allowed inside. I was a nice walk around the lake with lots of people eating outside in the park. The walk was a bit far but it was a nice scenic walk I would've missed if I took the shuttle bus. Kamakura was a day trip from Shibuya and usually not that crowded but I was there during Golden Week, so try to avoid that holiday. Everything is walkable but lots of walking! the beach town was nice.
