Opening a Bird Park - On the Perch | BirdSpyAus
I was on the Sapphire coast of New South Wales and I got to visit On the Perch, a new bird park located at Kalaru not far from Tathra.
Steve talks about how he got into birds and what lead to him and Linda starting the park and what was involved in getting it up and running.
I had made arrangements to interview Steve Sass after plans to film for one of my other channels fell through. After contacting Steve I was at the park within about an hour and I was back the following morning for the interview.
I hope you find it as interesting as I did and just to be clear, I did not get paid to make this video, I had follow the construction of this park on Facebook from before I knew that it was going to be a park and it look amazing from the start.
You all need to visit On the Perch as it's an amazing place and it will only get better

Weekend Fishing Trip
I spent the weekend camping and fishing with some friends. We had a great time and here's a little from our trip. We were on a private lake and it was great weather.
Eurobodalla CSA
The Eurobodalla National Park stretches for almost 30 kilometres along the far south coast of New South Wales, Australia and conserves a spectacular coastline. Ocean beaches, spotted gum forests, wetlands and estuaries offer a variety of scenery and an important habitat area for waterbirds and threatened native animals such as the white-footed dunnart. The Eurobodalla area also has significant Aboriginal and European cultural sites.
6-11-11 Pelican rescue
On June 11, 2001 Rob & some good samaritans helped a distressed Pelican at New Pass Beach. This poor Pelican had a fishing lure under his wing preventing him from flying. When they got it out, they discovered another hook in his back. He is happy & healthy today. Save our wildlife :)
