Cherry blossom blooming in Japan | Sakura forecast for 2019
The appearance of ‘sakura’ (cherry blossom) ???? marks the beginning of spring in Japan. ‘Sakura’ are only in bloom for a maximum of about two weeks. That’s why Japanese forecasts give specific information about when and where the flowers are expected to bloom.
Sakura forecast for 2019 ????:
Tokyo: March 23rd (first bloom), March 30th (full bloom).
Kyoto: March 24th (first bloom), April 4th (full bloom).
Osaka: March 26th (first bloom), April 4th (full bloom).
Sapporo: May 4th (first bloom), May 8th (full bloom).
Hiroshima: March 23th (first bloom), May 1st (full bloom).
Kobe: March 27th (first bloom), April 5th (full bloom).

Shinjuku Gyoen Sakura Full Bloom 2018
JR Ichinoseki Station （JR いちのせき駅）, Tohoku Region, Japan
JR Ichinoseki station （JR いちのせき駅） is located in the Tohoku region of northeastern Japan and close to the Fukushima and Sendai cities.
Many foreign tourists do not know about this city and rarely visit them. But recently the temples and other historical sites at nearby Hiraizumi city have been designated as UNESCO World Heritage sites, so the tourist population will increase to Ichinoseki and Hiraizumi.
Ichinoseki Station is located on the Tohoku Shinkansen route and is serviced by the Tsubasa Bullet Trains. It takes about three hours to get to Ichinoseki station from Tokyo. There is a JR line you can take from JR Ichinoseki to JR Hiraizumi station. There are buses also that take the tourists from JR Ichinoseki to the Hiraizumi world heritage sites.

Sakura Watch April 10, 2019 - Episode 5 - Warmer weather has paid off, as discovered during this most recent visit to High Park, I finally saw hints of green tips on the cherry blossom buds.
This means the trees have started to move into the second stage of development. During this stage, buds will appear large, and well rounded, and display prominent green upper sections. The trees by the sports fields have the most significant amount so far. In past years, this area is usually the first to bloom.
The largest grove of trees along Cherry Hill and Grenadier Pond currently only have about a 50-60% showing of second stage buds. But overall, they're not too far behind, and we should see all the buds go green by my next visit. This area usually bloom a day or so after the sports fields trees.
For now, things still look to be on track for a late April or early May peak bloom.
