A tour of sotoyu is very popular among Japanese visitors and many look forward to going on the tour rather than taking a bath at their hotels.
You can try all the seven sotoyu facilities with different constructions and atmospheres. Sotoyu facilities are free while you are checked-in at your hotel. These sotoyu facilities close at 11 p.m. (entrance until 10:30 p.m.),
and open from 7 a.m. (except for some facilities).

Day 3 - From Kumamoto drive to Takachiho, 80km of distance it took us about 2 hours to reach Takachiho Gorge 高千穂峡. Although country road was slower than highway, you never want to miss the beautiful scenery in mountains. Boating was fun and beautiful to cruise in the river, many tourists congested in this area, so i suggested to go there early hour.
This night we stayed in Takachiho Ryokan Shinsen 高千穂旅館 神仙, it's a very nice resort with private hot spring spa in our room. The food and services are 5 stars rated, and you will meet the lady owner to serve you too.

This was a trip to Unzen, Nagasaki. It's a small hotspring (onsen) resort located high in the mountains of Nagasaki prefecture. Dr. Sato and Dr. Tamura put us up in a really nice room... it was a truly awesome weekend.
