Daredevils and thrill seekers gathered at the Sagamiko Resort Pleasure Forest in Sagamihara, Kanagawa prefecture, Saturday, for the grand opening of Asia's first large climbing attraction, the 'Muscle Monster' theme park.
SOT, Yumi Shingo, visitor (Japanese): In the beginning when I came first here in the 3rd floor, I got very scared, but when I tried and keep playing it, I got used to it and it became very enjoyable.

VIAJE A IZU (SHIZUOKA) RYOKAN - ONSEN [La Japonidad al Palo 53]
Volvimos después de un mes sin actividad en el canal. En la primera semana de enero fuimos a la peninsula de Izu en la prefectura de Shizuoka para hospedarnos en un ryokan con onsen privado y les mostramos solo una parte de todo el recorrido. Man stabs brother in neck at mother's funeral in Japan
A 45-year-old Japanese man was arrested on Tuesday for alleged attempted murder. Ayato Kokubun is accused of trying to stab his elder brother to death during their mother's funeral in Osaki Miyagi.
The 48-year-old brother sustained serious injuries and is in stable condition, despite being stabbed in the back with a 15-cm knife.
Kokubun admitted the charges during questioning, saying that he had intended to kill his elder brother. Kokubun had dressed casually to attend her mother's funeral wake. The elder brother flew into a rage when he saw Kokubun's dress and an argument began.
The brothers are said to have had a long-lasting quarrel about the management of a hot spring hotel managed by their mother while she was alive.
He also had a previous conviction for hitting his elder brother with a car last April. The brother was badly hurt in that incident.

かつては「東京の奥座敷」とも言われ年間200万人以上の観光客が訪れる栃木県北部の鬼怒川温泉。その玄関口とも言える東武鉄道鬼怒川線の鬼怒川温泉駅に到着する列車を2本撮影しました。
Kinugawa Onsen is a hot spring resort, located at Nikko City in the northern Tochigi Prefecture, Japan. In the resort there are about 2 million tourists a year. Kinugawa-onsen station on the Tobu Railway Kinugawa line is a main entrance of the resort. I took a movie of 2 trains arriving at the station.

Sorry it has been 2 years because life caught up with me, but I will be posting the remainder of the vlog series here on this channel rather than the Nine Away channel, as that band discontinued. I decided to continue posting the vlog series although it has been 2 years because honestly I've been missing Japan and I will be moving to Japan for work in May! Once I touchdown in Japan, I will be making a new vlog series of my life there! So stay tune!

Volvemos con La Japonidad al Palo 2016, con un video largo, pero sin desperdicio. Espero que lo disfruten!
El pueblo minero de Nichitsu se encuentra en medio de las montañas de la prefectura de Chichibu.
Siendo una zona despoblada en medio de la nada, el pueblo se fué abandonando de a poco en la decada de los 70's ya que la mayor parte de la mina ya habia sido explotada, y bajó su producción.
La gente comenzó a buscar otras viviendas en zonas mas pobladas y de a poco llegó al punto de abandonarse por completo. Aun así hoy en dia aun hay gente trabajando en la zona minera, pero no gente viviendo.

伊豆稲取駅は、静岡県東伊豆町にある伊豆急行線の駅です。1961年12月10日に開業した東伊豆町の中心駅で、一日平均乗降人員は2,128人（2007年）です。そんな伊豆稲取駅で、駅周辺や構内、列車の発着風景を撮影してみました。
Izu-Inatori station, located at Higashi-Izu Town in Shizuoka, Japan, is a station of Izu Kyuko line. This station opened on 10th December, 1961 and it has a daily ridership of 2,128 passengers in 2007. I took this movie of station, vicinity and trains at Izu-Inatori station.

【FHD】JR東海道新幹線 熱海駅にて(At Atami Station on the JR Tokaido Shinkansen)
日本を代表する温泉街、静岡県熱海市の玄関口にある熱海駅。山が迫る地形の関係上、JR東海道新幹線の駅は待避線無しの2面2線構造にならざるを得ず、かつ急カーブ上にあるため通過速度は185km/hに制限されるなど、ダイヤ作成上のネックとなっています。今回は、そんな熱海駅のJR東海道新幹線ホームで列車の通過・発着列車を撮影しました。
Atami station is an entrance of one of the most famous hot spring resort, Atami City in Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan. Since the Tokaido Shinkansen's station is constructed along the mountain surface, it has 2 platforms with 2 tracks without shunt lines and passage speed of Shinkansen trains is limited under 185km/h due to sharp curve. This time, I took scenes of trains passage, arrival and departure at Atami station on the JR Tokaido Shinkansen.

スキー場や温泉で有名な新潟県の湯沢町の中心駅であり、JR上越新幹線と上越線が乗り入れる越後湯沢駅。当駅と北陸地方を北越急行ほくほく線を介して在来線最高速度の160km/hで結ぶ特急「はくたか」が発着し、長らく首都圏と北陸地方の中継駅として栄えてきました。しかし、2015年3月14日に北陸新幹線金沢延伸開業に伴い、在来線特急「はくたか」が廃止されるため、乗換客の激減が懸念されています。今回は、在来線特急「はくたか」の最後の冬を迎えた越後湯沢駅で、温水スプリンクラーによる融雪作業風景や、JR上越線（北越急行ほくほく線直通含む）の列車発着風景を撮影しました。
Echigo-Yuzawa station is located at Yuzawa Town, well known for ski and hot spring resort, in Niigata Prefecture, Japan and belongs to JR Joetsu Shinkansen and Joetsu line. This station has been a key junction between the Tokyo metropolitan area and the Hokuriku region because many passengers of Joetsu Shinkansen transfer for the limited express train HAKUTAKA, which has connected here and Hokuriku region via Hokuetsu Express Hokuhoku line at 160km/h, which is the fastest speed of all Japan local lines. However, HAKUTAKA will be abolished and many transfer passengers will disapper on 14th March, 2015, when the Hokuriku Shinkansen extend to Kanazawa. This time, I took snow melting scene by warm water sprinklers and trains' arrival and departure scenes (including trains linked directly to the Hokuetsu Express Hokuhoku line) at the station in the last busy winter season.
