Yamashiro Onsen is one of the largest hot spring resorts in Kaga City, Ishikawa Prefecture, an area in the Hokuriku region facing the Sea of Japan.
Yamashiro Onsen has a history of over 1,300 years and has retained much of the traditional culture. The soyu (public bathhouses) in the town center in the area called Yunogawa was built in the Edo period (1603-1867). Ko-soyu, also in Yunogawa, is a reproduction of a century-old soyu.
The region is also the home of world-renowned Kutani-yaki (Kutani ware porcelain) of which fine examples are exhibited in the museum. The old ryokans with red latticework and the traditional houses give the area its authentic feel of historical Japan with an artistic atmosphere.
Hot spring of Wakura | Noto Peninsula
The Wakura-onsen Hot Spring is known as one of the best high-class hot spring resorts in Japan and as the ocean's hot spring. It is located in Nanao City of Ishikawa, at the central part of the Noto-hanto Peninsula sticking into the Sea of Japan and facing beautiful Nanao Bay. Legend says that the hot springs opened 1,200 years ago, when a fisherman found a wounded white heron curing its body in the ocean's hot water giving off white steam.

Hyakurakuso Ryokan | Noto, Ishikawa, Japan
I spent 2 nights at Hyakurakuso Ryokan with my parents when they came and visited me in Japan, and it did not disappoint!
Hyakurakuso is located in my town and offers local Japanese cuisine, scenic and cave baths, and even private fishing in Tsukumo Bay! I highly recommend staying if you have the chance. The staff was also very friendly and very young and beautiful (I am used to seeing only schoolchildren or people over the age of 65 in my town so it was quite the surprise). Overall, an amazing experience.

The Hanayome Noren is a special sightseeing train that makes two round trips daily between Kanazawa Station and the hot spring resort of Wakura Onsen. This train is decorated inside and out with gorgeous designs inspired by the traditional crafts of the Hokuriku region: Wajima lacquerware, Kaga-Yuzen silk dyeing, and Kanazawa gold leaf. The experience of riding this train is like being in a traditional luxury hotel and so it has been nicknamed a “ryokan on wheels”.
The Hanayome Noren is limited express service operated by JR West so it is covered by the Japan Rail Pass. At Kanazawa Station this train departs from Platform 4.
Kanazawa Station (金沢駅 Kanazawa-eki) is a major railway station in Kanazawa, Ishikawa, Japan, operated by West Japan Railway Company (JR West), the private railway operator Hokuriku Railroad, and the third-sector operator IR Ishikawa Railway.
Beneath a square in front of the JR station is Hokutetsu-Kanazawa Station, the terminal of the Hokuriku Railroad Asanogawa Line.
JR Kanazawa Station is elevated above street level, featuring three island platforms with one cut-out platform (for Track 4) on the Up (Toyama) side of the middle island platform, serving seven tracks in total. A large roof covers the station building, in order to prevent train stoppages due to accumulated snow within the station.
The Hokuriku Shinkansen platforms are adjacent to the east exit, between the Motenashi Dome and the conventional tracks. The shinkansen station has two island platforms serving four tracks. At the time of its opening, it will be the terminus of the line, although, long-term plans call for the route to be extended first to Tsuruga, and eventually to Osaka.
Kanazawa (金沢市 Kanazawa-shi) is a city located in Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan. As of 1 January 2018, the city had an estimated population of 466,029 in 203,271 households, and a population density of 990 persons per km². The total area of the city was 468.64 square kilometres (180.94 sq mi). It is the capital of Ishikawa Prefecture.

Guests may enjoy Wakura Hot Spring at two public baths with open-air bath in both with Sauna.
All rooms are facing the ocean and equipped with Yukata bathrobes, towels, shampoo, rinse, toothbrushes, razor, soap, dryer, TV, telephone, toilets with bidet.
Other facilities available in the hotel are banquet rooms, entrance lounge, hospitality terrace, main lounge, beauty salon, Japanese restaurant, karaoke room, souvenir shop, bar, and golf simulation room.
The hotel is located 60 minutes by train from Kanazawa to Wakura Onsen station, 60 minutes by car from Noto Airport to Wakura Onsen, and five minutes by taxi or bus from Wakura Onsen station to the hotel.
Nearby attractions include Wajima Morning Market (70min), Senmaida (70min), Chirihama Nagisa Driveway (40min), and Twin Bridge Noto (30min).
Rates are based on double occupancy. Charges for extra adults may apply and will be due directly to the hotel.
