In this video we’ll show you Yugawara(湯河原), Kanagawa.
Yugawara is one of the leading Hot Spring resorts in Japan and famous for being an onsen (hot spring) town. It is an area where you can enjoy great nature as well as fresh seafood, as it is surrounded by mountains and ocean.
Around Yugawara there are many famous sightseeing areas, such as Atami, Izu, Hakone,Odawara as well as Mt. Fuji. They are all located close to Yugawara. Among the various onsen facilities, there is a footbath called Doppo no Yu, where you soak only your feet in the hot spring water. It is very popular among visitors.
One of Yugawara's main specialties is its famous tangerine oranges. Around November you can see them growing all over the town. Going to Tangerine picking in a Tangerine orchard is an recommended option, or you can buy fresh Tangerine at shop which Tangerine come from the Orchard directly.
There are also a variety of events to enjoy, from traditional events to seasonal events such as a fireworks display and Halloween. Among others, Yukake Matsuri, in which groups splash hot spring water on each other's Mikoshi (portable shrines), is an event unique to the onsen resort, and is popular among both Japanese people and overseas visitors. Since this is a hot spring town, the onsen waters can be enjoyed in most of the accommodations in Yugawara town.
Moreover, since the Sagami bay is within walking distance, there are many restaurants and Ryokans ( Japanese style Inn ) where you can enjoy many dishes including Sushi and Sashimi made with fresh fishes and shellfishes. Of course, marine sports, fishing and others activities can be enjoyed, too.

Crazy Traditional Japanese Hotel | Vlog #443
This traditional #JapaneseHotel, known as a 'ryokan', will blow you away! In today's vlog we arrive at Wakakusa No Yado Maruei, a traditional Japanese inn located in Yamanashi Prefecture near Mt. Fuji, and everything about the place just blew our minds. The design, the accommodations, the view, and everything else just made this an experience we'd never forget! We each even got to wear a cool #kimono which we found in the closet of our room. #Japan is truly an amazing place!

Private Onsen Lake Kawaguchi Mount Fuji (Japan Trip Pt.2)
I'm experimenting on image stabilization. YouTube has an automatic stabilizer that makes the video look like a view from a jello lens so I'm using other methods. I didn't realize how much shaking took place until now. Future videos will be shot by the GoPro Hero 5 which has the feature built in.

The only thing I knew about Japan was that I wanted to go there. Once on the island, I had 19 days to discover whatever I could. This is a glimpse of what I experienced.

Japan - Kanazawa City | VLOG #4
Kanazawa, the biggest city in the Hokuriku region has a population of
450,000, and is a castle town that was ruled over by the Maeda family
for three centuries after the first lord Toshiie Maeda entered Kanazawa
Castle in 1583.
The development of its special products like rice, sake, sweets, etc.
was due to its temperate and rainy climate with heavy snow in winter.
The city is surrounded by the Japan Alps, Hakusan National Park and
Noto Peninsula National Park. Two rivers run through the city; the Sai
is said to be a lively masculine river and the Asano to be a sweet,
feminine river. Such a natural background of great beauty gives the
city a relaxed feeling.
Since the Kaga Clan invited many artists and craftsmen to this area,
it achieved a high level of craftsmanship that continues to flourish
to this day.

WINE MAKERS DINNER at the Onsen Ryokan in Kyoto SUMIYA KIHO-AN 2/7
Sumiya Kiho-an is located in the Yunohana-onsen which is 45 minutes away from Kyoto.
Wines are displayed in the banquet room for dinner. The wines are from Brundlmayer, Zahel, Jurstschitsch Sonnhof, STEININGER, ESTERHAZY, Weninger, TEMENT, Hirtzberger, F.X.Pichler, KRACHER. Ryokan Sumiya has the most Austrian wines in Japan.

The Footbath Pocket Park is a free public footbath located next to the Snow Country Museum.
The footbath is a hot spring bath for soaking the feet.
Without taking off their clothes, visitors can easily warm their bodies by soaking their feet in the warm water.
Stop by during a stroll and try the footbath.
Day Trip to Shizuoka - Mt Fuji, Skating, SNOW!!
A quick day-trip to Shizuoka to make use of the still-frozen ice rink in Fuji-Q. Super lucky for a nice day taking shots of Mt Fuji (although I forgot to charge my drone controller). Heavy snow on the 2nd day meant that I decided to go home early and skip out a few more places... next time!
