Niagara Falls-Tour in a day. ONTARIO, CANADA
Niagara Falls-Tour in a Day,
Niagara Falls in Ontario, Canada - welcomes millions of visitors every year who come to see the breath-taking view of the Canadian Horseshoe Falls with another two waterfalls—American and Bridal Veil Falls. Heading from Toronto down-town, two hours drive to Niagara Falls, visitors can enjoy a full-day exciting activity along with viewing and experiencing the falls.
VIA Rail has one train from Toronto to Niagara Falls every morning, with one return in the late afternoon. Go Transit offers commuter train halfway and bus the rest of the way to Niagara Falls. The bus has a stop about one kilometer from the Falls as well as the bus terminal. There are several trips daily each way. Greyhound and Megabus also go to the Niagara Falls bus terminal, which is about three kilometers from the Falls. Each has several trips daily. All of these methods take about 2 hours each way.
While driving from Toronto, visitors can take a break at Niagara Gateway at Grimsby on Queen Elizabeth Expressway (QEW). It's a good place to get out and stretch, take a washroom break and grab a coffee. Besides the Gas Station, there is a visitor information booth, Food Court with some major food chain stores, clean Washrooms, and a convenience store.
After the short break, travel along the Niagara Parkway towards Niagara-on-the-Lake to visit the famous Floral Clock, located north of the Botanical Gardens. The intricate designs on the face of the Floral Clock are created with up to 16,000 carpet bedding plants and are changed twice each year.
Make the most of the opportunity by seeing the beauty of the Falls from the viewing platforms amid the gardens of Queen Victoria Park and the observation decks of Skylon Tower. A boat cruise offers an unmatched, thrilling and up-close view of the mighty cascades. You might also opt for a Helicopter Tour to get a magnificent top view of Niagara Falls. Enjoy the incredible sight of the American, Bridal Veil and Canadian Horseshoe Falls from high above, along with a spectacular view of the many landmarks and renowned wine country of the Niagara region.
Niagara Falls has so many great attractions! If you have spare time, don't miss to have a look through Clifton Hill activities area. The main street just makes you laugh with all the weird amusements and activities but if you want to see wax museums, haunted houses, and some of the weirdest attractions this is your place. Just a stroll up the street is free entertainment and you can grab a donut or ice cream or coffee.
Your visit to the Niagara Falls begins at the Table Rock Welcome Centre. This is one of the first places to stop by while visiting Niagara Falls. Here you’ll learn how to make the most of your time at the falls, plus you can buy tickets for some area attractions if you didn’t book a tour in advance. The complex has viewing platforms, coffee shops, washrooms, restaurants, convenience stores, and attractions.
Every evening at dusk, the Falls are illuminated in every color of the rainbow, and fireworks displays are offered weekly. A top annual event is the Winter Festival of Lights. From late-November until the end of January, more than three million lights illuminate a three-mile route through the city.
Toronto - City Video Guide
Toronto is Canada's largest and North America's fourth-largest city. Its multi-cultural population is spread out over the Megacity, but neighborhoods such as China Town, Greektown and Little Italy retain some of their original character. A typical Hogtown treat is the Peameal sandwich, available at the Saint Lawrence Market in the Old Town.
The city's landmark CN Tower stands in stark contrast to the another local icon: The castle-like Casa Loma. Some other famous architectural feats are the Royal Ontario Museum and the Gehry-designed Art Gallery of Ontario.
Kensington Markets is an art-loving, 70s-inspired neighborhood full of shops. Upscale fashion stores surround Dundas Square, the downtown end of Yonge Street. During colder months, the city's huge underground mall, the PATH, offers hours of indoor fun. The Rogers Centre and nearby Hockey Hall of Fame are a must-see for sports fans.
Kids will love Ontario Science Centre, the chipmunks in the Edward Gardens, the Toronto Zoo and Canada's Wonderland.
The city lies on the shores of Lake Ontario, overlooked by Canada Square in the Harbourfront Centre. Across the water is Niagara-on-the-Lake. From there the Niagara Falls are just a short drive away, so don't miss out on this natural spectacle.

Visiting Niagara Falls In Ontario Canada
In this adventure I head to Niagara Falls in Ontario, Canada to capture this breathtaking natural wonder. Niagara Falls is a group of three waterfalls and can be viewed from both Canada and the United States Of America. The falls drop between 69ft and 187ft and have a span of between 1,050ft and 2,590ft depending on where you view them from.
In this video I take a look around the area closest to the Horseshoe falls and capture footage of the falls from various different angles. I also share footage of the falls at night as large LED's panels shine onto them.

More information about the video content bellow:
1. People have lived in what is now Ontario for more than 12,000 years. Before the arrival of the European settlers, Algonquian- and Iroquoian-speaking Aboriginals had settled on the land. In 1867, Ontario and Quebec became separate provinces. They joined Nova Scotia and New Brunswick to form a federal union called the Dominion of Canada. This was declared in the British North America Act. The new country’s capital was the small town of Ottawa.
2. The second-largest province in Canada, Ontario covers over 415,000 square miles (one million square kilometers). This makes it larger than France and Spain combined. A big part of this land mass actually features lakes, so if you’re a water enthusiast you’ll be in seventh heaven in Ontario. In fact, the state boasts around a quarter of a million lakes in total, which makes up approximately 20 percent of the world’s fresh water stores.
3. Toronto is the province’s capital and largest city. Some of its more interesting features include the fact that the city has become one of the premier destinations for foodies as it’s home to over 8,000 restaurants for its 5.6 million residents. Toronto is the third most popular city in North America for film production and provides over 25,000 jobs in that industry.
4. Ottawa is the capital city of Canada. Founded in 1826 as Bytown, and incorporated as Ottawa in 1855, the city has evolved into the political centre of Canada. The city name Ottawa was chosen in reference to the Ottawa River, the name of which is derived from the Algonquin Odawa, meaning to trade.
5. Every country has its secrets and Canada is no exception. During World War II Canada operated a spy school near the town of Whitby. These intrepid young men were trained to spy on the enemies of the Allies and two famous men made up the class roster. These were Ian Fleming, creator of the James Bond series of books, and Roald Dahl, author of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Camp X was used after the war as a communication interception station but those operations ceased in 1969. Today the location is called Intrepid Park.
6. A well-known geographic feature is Niagara Falls, part of the Niagara Escarpment. Niagara Falls is the collective name for three waterfalls that straddle the international border between the Canadian province Ontario and the American state of New York. They form the southern end of the Niagara Gorge.
7. Yonge Street is a major arterial route connecting the shores of Lake Ontario in Toronto to Lake Simcoe, a gateway to the Upper Great Lakes. Until 1999, the Guinness Book of World Records repeated the popular misconception it was 1,896 km long, and thus the longest street in the world; this was due to a conflation of Yonge Street with the rest of Ontario's Highway 11. Yonge Street (including the Bradford-to-Barrie extension) is actually 86 kilometres long.

Canada Trip#9 | Scarborough Historical Museum | Canada Tourism attraction | Toronto-Ontario | Canada
Hi
OM NAMHH SHIVAAY !!
This video specially for tourist , who want to Explore and discover new things in Canada.Cornell House
As part of the Scarborough Museum, the Cornell House offers a look at rural village life circa 1914 and is furnished to depict that time period. The Cornell House was constructed in 1858 and was originally home to Charles Cornell, his wife Matilda and their eight children. Charles father, William Cornell, came to Scarborough from Rhode Island in 1799. William Cornell built the township’s first sawmill at Highland Creek and along with Levi Annis, cut the ‘Front’ road along the lake in the early 1800s. Known as the ‘Cornwell Road’, it was improved and straightened in 1817 and renamed Kingston Road. Charles’ youngest daughter, Matilda inherited the house in 1887, and lived there with her mother and older brother Fred who operated a small orchard and market garden.
McCowan Log House
The McCowan Log House has been restored and furnished to portray the life of local settlers in the 1850s, and was constructed in the 1830s. The house was owned by William P. McCowan (Willie) who was born in 1820 in East Auchanbeg, Lesmahagow Parish, Lanarkshire, Scotland. In 1833, Willie emigrated to Scarborough from Scotland with his parents and siblings, and in 1848 he purchased 100 acres, the north half of Lot 13, Concession 4 which included the log house. The log house was located on the banks of Wilcot Creek in the northern part of the Malvern area in Scarborough. The building had additions and renovations made over the years and was moved to the Thornbeck property on Littles Road in 1948. In 1974 the building was moved once more to the Scarborough Museum.
Hough Carriage Works
The Hough Carriage Works collection displays carriage making equipment and artisans’ tools that demonstrate the importance of transportation in the rural community. Henry Hough operated a carriage building and blacksmith shop at the southwest corner of what is now Eglinton Avenue East and Birchmount Road on land patented by his father Joseph in 1846. The shop began operating about 1856 and in the 1861 census Henry is listed as a wheelwright. The carriage making shop was a two storey wood frame building with wooden runways outside to bring the completed carriages down from the second floor. On the first floor the wagon parts were built and assembled while on the second floor, the paint and finishing touches were applied.
Scarborough Museum is set along the walking trails of beautiful Thomson Memorial Park, once the farm fields of Scarborough’s first settlers and now a popular heritage community. The museum shows the history and development of Scarborough from its founding and early settlement to its growth and emergence as a major suburb in the 20th century. The site and its gardens are situated on property first granted to David and Mary Thomson, who settled in Scarborough in the late 1790s.
Scarborough Museum consists of four buildings that were moved to the site between 1962 to 1974. These include: Cornell House, a clapboard, Scarborough vernacular-style farmhouse; the McCowan Log House, restored to its 1850s appearance; Kennedy Gallery, a small former farm outbuilding; and the Hough Carriage Works, which houses a collection of artisans tools donated by the Hough family who operated the original shop at Hough’s Corners.
Scarborough Museum offers visitors an opportunity to connect to the past through youth programming, camps, school trips, exhibits and special events. This video is about my first trip to the CANADA from New Delhi India.
