STORYLINE:
Hezbollah fired at least 10 rockets at the Israeli port city of Haifa on Tuesday - one hit a city bus and another a house.
Five people were hurt, one seriously and two moderately, doctors and medics said. Two of the rockets hit very close to a Haifa hospital, doctors told Channel 10 TV.
The house that was hit suffered heavy damage but no one was seriously hurt in that rocket attack, witnesses said.
Haifa's mayor told Channel 10 that residents had felt free to leave bomb shelters since rockets had not fallen all day.
So far at least 17 Israeli civilians have been killed in Hezbollah rocket attacks across the country.
Hezbollah rockets also hit the northern Israeli town of Nahariya on Tuesday, landing in open fields. There were no immediate reports of injuries.
Israeli commentators are calling into question the effectiveness of Israel's two week old onslaught on its northern neighbour as it has failed to stop the Lebanese Shiite militant group from firing countless rockets into Israel on a daily basis.

Yeshivat Lev HaTorah-Peppers, Beaches, and the IDF
Our first tiyul of the year began at a beautiful pepper field near Rehovot. In conjunction with Project Leket, an organization that organizes volunteers to pick fruits and vegetables for the needy, Lev HaTorah talmidim were involved in an amazing Chessed in preperation for Rosh Hashana. Picking peppers was not only exciting, and fun, but by the end of the morning, according to the account of Prject Leket, they will be able to feed 500 families peppers based on our picking alone.
Next stop was the Ashdod Beach where we swam in the sparkling warm water of the Meditaranian Sea. The waves were nice, the water was unbelievable, and the beach games kept on coming!
After lunch at the beach we head down south to Kibbutz Yad Mordechai. We stood at the actual site of the Miraculous battle in 1948 where the underdog Kibutzniks held the Egyptian Army for 6 days. These few days of heroism saved the whole Israel from an Egyptian take over of Israel. Rav Mo gave a stirring speech connecting the miracles of 1948 and the open Miracles of this past summer in Yad Mordechai. The Kibbutz, being just 2-3 miles from Gaza, was the target of hundreds if not thousands of rockets, yet the Kibbutz remained strong not giving into the cynical terror of Hamas.
Our final destination for the day was an IDF outpost guarding the Erez crossing into Gaza. The soldiers warmly invited us onto their base, showing us all their guns, ammo, equipment. They gave as a tour of their base, its watchtowers, tank, and much more. It was really moving meeting the soldiers who fought in Gaza and every day put their lives in dangers in order to guard Israel from its enemies. The Yeshiva gave very nice gifts to the soldiers, a simple thank you, to our very special soldiers.

STORYLINE
Hezbollah rockets continued to hit towns in northern Israel causing casualties and damage to property on Sunday afternoon.
One woman was seriously injured and several others taken to hospital suffering from shock when four katyusha rockets landed in Kiryat Yam, an industrial town north of Haifa.
People who had come out to look at the damage from the first salvo raced back to shelters when the sirens sounded again.
The number of Hezbollah rockets to hit northern Israel since fighting began more than a month ago surpassed 4,000 on Sunday, Israel Radio said.
The army said it could not confirm the report, but police said more than 200 Hezbollah rockets fell on Israel on Sunday alone, including 15 in Haifa, Israel's third largest city.
Residents throughout northern Israel hope these attacks are a last minute push by Hezbollah before a UN-mandated ceasefire takes effect at 8 am local time on Monday.
Shmuel Siso, the mayor of Kiryat Yam, said three people were injured by Hezbollah rockets and a lot of damage was caused, but no one was killed.
One of the buildings hit in Kiryat Yam was a school. Siso said it was the third school to be hit by a rocket since the start of the hostilities.
