VIENNA - Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera)
Wiener Staatsoper is Vienna's most famous theater and is located on the Ring.. Inaugurated in 1869 as the Court Opera (Wiener Hofoper), it is also one of the main buildings of the city and one of the most renowned opera houses in the world.
The Wiener Staatsoper can be visited only with a guided tour that last approximately 40 minutes. The price for adults is 9 euros and individuals are not required to book, it is sufficient to be at the entrance 15 minutes before the visit but beware queues can be long!
