Huge Airplane in Guanggu Optics Valley Square - Wuhan City in 4k
These videos are filmed while riding an ebike on the streets of Wuhan, a fast growing Chinese city with a population of almost 10 million. Due to the limited range of the bike, all videos are shot in Wuchang near the Guanggu Square. Many of Wuhan's University are located in this area, also some beautiful lakes can be found here. Compered to the quite developed and clean City center in Hankou, Wuchang has a lot of constructions and some of the streets are a real challenge to drive.
Till now, every video was shot with a Xiaomi Yi Cam 4k action camera, the newer videos without waterproof case to increase the picture quality. Also I uesed different external audio devices to get rid of the wind noise.

Finding Optics Valley
Optics Valley, which is also called Wuhan East Lake High-tech Development Zone, located in the east south of Wuhan. It contains a host of enterprises plus 42 higher education instituions and an additional 56 naitonal and provincial scientific research institutes. It also hosts about 70,000 registered market players and over 50,000 enterprises. Our host Erik comes to Optics Valley to discover how this place will bring China into the future of tomorrow.

have you noticed that Wuhan is different now? It's not as hot as before, the sky is brighterand more importantly, Guanggu is not as croweded as it used to be.
As we all know, Guanggu is almost the most crowded place in Wuhan, not only because there are alot of college students and office workers, but also because the center of Guanggu Square is being built for years. However, two months ago, Guanggu roundabout has finally been finished.
This amazing construction named 星河 (xing he), it has two parts: the one we saw from video is the part on the ground, there is another part which is underground, is still under construction.
Our xinghe, is the Asia's biggest underground urban complex. We should definitely get to know it more.
How it used to look like?
Xinghe has been built for 5 years, it started from 2014, there used to have another landscape construction, we named the it 风帆（feng fan）, it was a white construction, however, the single ground transportation could not contain the huge traffic flow of Guanggu area.
How is it now?
This project started in 2014, and now, xinghe has finally been finished.
The height of Xinghe is 34.5 meters and the diameter is 86.5 meters, it will be the biggest steel structure public artwork. The outlook looks like a huge roller coaster, the height of the highest spot is 39 meters.
It points to our Yellow Crane Tower, it's the combination of old and new, traditional and modern, they are two landscapes of Wuhan, telling us this city's story.
