This video was shot around the historic town of St George in Bermuda.
Included are many of the attractions and hotels in the town such as Ordnance Island (0:10), the statue of Sir George Somers (0:28), the replica of the Deliverance (0:51), the Town Hall and Kings Square (2:05), Old State House (3:15), Bermuda National Trust Museum (3:36), St Peters Church (4:01), St Georges Post Office (4:24), Tucker House Museum (4:28), Somers Wharf (4:40), Old Rectory (4:55), Bermuda Perfumery (5:09), Aunt Neas Inn (5:18), and Unfinished Church (5:23).
The final clips (5:30) show NCLs Norwegian Majesty cruise ship docked in the town.

St Georges waterfront, buildings on Ordnance Island. Ocean Monarch at dock and a great look at a whats left of a wrecked and rusty ship.
In a garden - the Perfumery?
Front Street Hamilton, Policeman directing traffic at Heyl's corner, its busy. Great look at the window displays at Apothecaries Hall. A quick glimpse of The Nelms Tower Building looking north up Burnaby Hill (razed in 1953 and now the Bank of Butterfield's headquarters).
Back to the Ocean Monarch, boarding and a great pan of the Hotel St. George and the waterfront including the US base.
Kids are fighting for tossed change on the dock, the guy in the suit changed direction quickly!

La ville de St. George's fait partie du patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO. Elle fut la capitale des Bermudes jusqu'en 1815, cédant sa place à la ville d'Hamilton.
King's Square est le coeur de la ville. A l'origine, c'était la place du marché. On y retrouve entre autres la mairie qui date de 1782 ainsi que le National Trust Museum.
En traversant le petit pont qui se trouve à proximité, on atteint l'île d'Ordnance, une toute petite île qui sert de quai de croisière en été.
On peut y observer une réplique grandeur nature du navire Deliverance ainsi qu'une sculpture en bronze de George Somers, considéré comme le fondateur des Bermudes.
Le World Heritage Centre donne un excellent aperçu du patrimoine et de l'histoire de cette ville.
Bridge House est la plus ancienne résidence encore habitée de l'île. Elle a été construite en 1690. Elle appartient aujourd'hui au Bermuda National Trust et elle abrite une galerie d'art ainsi que des appartements privés.
Old State House est le plus ancien bâtiment en pierre de l'île. Il a été construit en 1620 pour abriter l'assemblée des Bermudes.
L'église St Peters est située sur la route principale de St. George's. Elle a été construite en 1612.
En vous promenant dans les rues de cette charmante petite ville, vous y découvrirez des boutiques et des restaurants ainsi que bien d'autres attraits touristiques tels que le Bermuda Perfumery, Unfinished Church ainsi que plusieurs autres musées et bâtiments historiques.
Les bâtiments colorés et la gentillesse de ses habitants ajoutent au charme de cette pittoresque ville.

Bermuda Vacation 1983 ~ Lantana, St. Georges Club, Dingy Races & Gates Fort
1983 Bermuda Vacation saved from 8mm film - Thimble Cottage on Glenn Court Road, Boating in St. George's harbor - waterfront and cruise boat The Big Dipper docked (later burnt and became The Burnt Slipper) - cruise through St. Davids, past St. Davids Lighthouse, Castle Islands and past the US Base.
Outside of the St'Georges Club timeshare cottage colony then on to the Sonesta Beach Hotel on South shore - pool and beach (now the Hamilton Princess Beach Club).
Lantana, interior and dining room, dining terrace and moon gate. Driving through Somerset Village with a stop at Somerset Draw Bridge - someone diving off the bridge.
A stop at The Castle Harbour Hotel in Tuckers Town, then Tom Moore's Tavern and jungle - Walsingham Bay.
Back on the road, over the causeway & Ferry Reach and back to the Town of St. Georges. Town Square , Pub on the Square & Ordnance Island. Dinghy races in the harbor. Fort St. Catherine, Gates fort & St. Peters Church. Driving on Marsh Folly Road towards the City of Hamilton.

Bermuda Vacation 1930/40s Sherwood Manor Hotel, Sailing & Monarch of Bermuda at Dock
No Cars - transfer from 16mm film - nice and clear - no date on reel.
Arrival in Bermuda, assumed on the Monarch of Bermuda - views of Dockyard and islands to docking in Hamilton.
Outside the Sherwood Manor Hotel in Fairylands (now Queens Cove condominium). The boat at 5:30 is the Dainty, now in the NMB. at about 5:40. on the foredeck in his cap, appears to be the famous Capt. George Montrose Chummy Minors.

Back in St. Georges with Billie Byes sitting on the stern of the St David's ferry Daisy alongside Market Wharf in St George. That berth is the Town Square side of the bridge to Ordnance Island today (thank you Wendell!).

Wanted to capture a time lapse of the sunset. But unfortunately, it was short & a cloudy day. But I did it anyway & captured a baby whip ray jump out the waters while filming, that's was unexpected. Check it out.

Bermuda Vacation 1973 - Sonesta Beach Hotel & Inside the Sinky Bay Dome
The Sonesta Beach Hotel was originally the Carlton Beach Hotel and subsequently the Wyndham Bermuda resort. It was demolished in 2007 after extensive damage from hurricane Fabian in 2003. It is now the Hamilton Princess Beach Club and a spectacular place to visit.
Moped riders on South Shore overlooking the Sonesta Beach hotel in front of the Henry VIII restaurant junction with Lighthouse road then Sonesta Drive & Sinky Bay. (No crash helmets, made mandatory in 1976) Bus ride to Hamilton on South Shore Road – Southampton Princess, Whaler Inn, Horseshoe Bay Beach 7 East Broadway.
Front Street Hamilton, docks & harbor. Good footage around the city.
Taxi ride from Hamilton back to Sonesta Beach – exterior of hotel and hillside – then on to Lighthouse Hill. Rainy drive along Harbor Road to Palm Grove gardens & walk through the moongate. A stop at the Castle Harbor Hotel Golf Club then a visit to the original Perfume Factory in Bailys Bay featuring Lili perfume. Then a drive past the airport to St. Georges.
The town of St. Georges, the replica “Deliverance” on Ordnance Island, the ducking stool & White Horse pub. Town Square, Cable Ship “Mercury” at dock, the stocks & St. Peters Church (Sign displaying “Next Sunday Service by Rector Matins on Feb 18th). A stop at the unfinished church, past Fort St. Catherine, The Holiday Inn Hotel and the Gunpowder Tavern.
Back at Sonesta Beach and then some golf at the Port Royal Golf Course in Southampton an a stop at Somerset drawbridge.
Back at Sonesta Beach, sign for the OBSO Lounge. Swimming inside the glass domed pool in Sinky Bay. Back on the Port Royal golf course overlooking a stormy South Shore.

Boarding the M.V. Georgic at unknown port - Furness Lines gangways - Cruise to Bermuda.
St. Davids lighthouse from Murry's Anchorage, the St Davids ferry Daisy at the dock at 6:20 minutes with boxes of lilies on top and later at 12:35 taking tourists to St Davids.
The Rowleys gate posts. Riddles Bay train stop? - Train tracks. Train arriving, different location. Busy Front Street, Queen of Bermuda at dock, Hamilton Harbor, Queen Street, Bermuda Library & Rubber Tree. Par-La-Vile Park. North Shore from train? Gibbons Gardens? Unknown old house with half its roof missing. Causeway, St. Peters Church. Ordnance Island - selling Easter lilies from ferry.. Town of St. Georges, the White Horse Tavern, St. Georges Hardware in the Town Hall & A.S. Coopers. St. Peters graveyard & bell cedar tree. Aquarium, Gibbs Hill Lighthouse, Great Sound from Harbor Road.
At 11:00 the Warwick ferry Laconia approaching Belmont dock still has her tall funnel from her coal burning days, before her conversion to diesel. the passageways on her sides were later partially enclosed.
Drinking milk at Spanish Point?, Farmers Market with neat carriage in front (unknown location). St. Georges from harbor.
The E. Warral Outerbridge Florist & Nursery with amazing Easter Lily fields.
Unknown beach, the berthing maneuver of what looks to be the Holland America Veendam at 14:25 in St George harbor - unknown swimming pool and gardens ( back of Hotel St. George?)
