Crossing the Øresund Bridge on the E20 from Sweden to Denmark on my motorcycle
Me and a friend motorcycled from Finland over to Copenhagen in September 2014. This is the bridge crossing part, with not a lot of side winds. Rain started the minute we got to Denmark. Sunshine through all of Sweden.
Oresund Bridge: More than just a connection between Sweden and Denmark
The Öresund is the shortest sea route between the North and the Baltic Seas. For centuries it was a bone of contention for many maritime nations. But not all ships can sail through it, because the shipping channel is only eight metres deep in some places. This means that heavy commercial ships and fully laden tankers have to navigate the twists and turns of the Great Belt. Denmark and Sweden have been connected by the Oresund Bridge for ten years. The result is that Copenhagen and Malmö have almost merged.

Oresund Bridge - Great Attractions (Denmark)
Take a tour of Oresund Bridge in Denmark -- part of the World's Greatest Attractions series by GeoBeats.
Stretched over miles and miles of water is Oresund Bridge.
This cable-stayed bridge not only links Sweden and Denmark but also connects many parts of Western and Central Europe.
By the year 1995, the construction of the bridge had begun and while it was completed in 1999, it was not until 2000 that the bridge was officially opened.
To commemorate this occasion the Danish Queen and the Swedish King hosted the celebrations and the ceremony.
This enduring structure has been built in one the immensely popular architectural style of building bridges, the Dissing+Weitling style.
The bridge offers easy access with several toll pass options to its approximate 60,000 daily users for whom it's a regular means of transportation.

ABOUT THE SHOW:
MegaStructures is a documentary television series. Each episode is an educational look of varying depth into the construction, operation, and staffing of various structures or construction projects, but not ordinary construction products.
Generally containing interviews with designers and project managers, it presents the problems of construction and the methodology or techniques used to overcome obstacles.
MegaStructures focuses on constructions that are extreme; in the sense that they are the biggest, tallest, longest, or deepest in the world.

The cheapest way to cross the Öresund bridge between Copenhagen and Malmo
Subscribe to the channel
I think everyone who watched the wonderful detective series Bridge/Bron/Broen dreamed to ride on the bridge between Denmark and Sweden, listening to the song Hollow talk. I watched, dreamed and in May finally realized the dream.
What is the cheapest way to cross the Öresund bridge?
First of all, you cannot cross the bridge on foot or by bicycle. All other methods cost money.
Even a motorcyclist has to pay 28 euros for the passage on the bridge.
The fare for a regular car is 52 euros. That's why there are so few cars on the bridge: it's expensive.
Danish taxi is one of the most expensive in Europe. One-way bridge travel costs 150-200 euros.
What is left? A train costs about 110 Danish Krone (15 euros) one way. And there are trains every 10 minutes.
But the railway is located on the lower level of the bridge, from where it is inconvenient to enjoy the views.
Well, the cheapest option that I ultimately chose is the Flixbus bus. If you buy a ticket in advance, the price for one trip starts from 4 euros.
I highly recommend paying another 1 euro for seats at the panoramic window when buying a ticket online.
I took seats on the second floor by the front window, on the left.
Thus, the most economical option for a trip Copenhagen-Malmo-Copenhagen costs from 10 euros.
Directly over the bridge, the bus takes about 10 minutes. Тhis time is enough to listen to the Hollow talk song twice.

Øresund Bridge Flyover - Connecting Denmark and Sweden
A flyover of the Øresund Bridge that connects Denmark and Sweden.
The bridge runs nearly 8 kilometres (5 miles) from the Swedish coast to the artificial island of Peberholm, which lies in the middle of the strait. The remainder of the link is by a 4 km (2.5 miles) tunnel from Peberholm to the Danish island of Amager. The Øresund Bridge is the longest combined road and rail bridge in Europe, and connects two major metropolitan areas: Copenhagen, the Danish capital city, and the major Swedish city of Malmö. It connects the road and rail networks of Scandinavia with those of Central and Western Europe. A data cable also uses the bridge to carry all Internet data transmission for Finland.
