After a good saturday of work the NZBoardstore staff decided to go have some fun on the east coast of New Zealand. Shot with my DJI Phantom 3 Professional.

Orewa’s longest established surf/ skate store. Underground Skate is more than just a skate/surf shop. Being established in Orewa for over 20 years our staff know a thing or two when it comes the area, make sure you come down to the store and chat to Nick and the crew whether you want to know the best coffee spot, where the surfs breaking or the best activities Orewa has to offer.
We are located right on the beach and offer surf, sup and jet ski rentals, we also organize SUP tours up the Puhoi river.
Underground has stayed true to its roots since its inception with a consistent, and solid Skate range available at all times.
Being situated right next to the water in Orewa beach, just North of Auckland, it was inevitable for Underground to move into watersports and bring both Surf and SUP into the fold in recent years.
Since then Underground has continued to be owned and operated by a tight-knit crew of passionate surfers and skaters who all share a true love for standing sideways.
With 2017 seeing US celebrating its 20th year in the industry, you can be sure to get the best advice from a team of experts who have shredded it all and built a deep knowledge base in the process.

뉴질랜드에서 이민생활을 하면서 가장 감사한 일은 조금만 운전해 나가면 초록의 탁트인 공간과 푸르른 바다를 볼 수 있어 일상처럼 여유로움을 느낄 수 있다는 것입니다. 고속도로가 생겨 Puhoi(푸호히)의 Folk village지를 빠르게 갈 수 있어 감사하면서도 다른 한편으로는 고속도로로 인해 너무 빠름만을 추구하는건 아닌지 웬지 모를 아쉬움이 들어 , 돌아오는 길은 시간이 조금 걸리더라도 고속도로를 이용하지 않고, 예전 국도를 이용해 Auckland(오클랜드)에 돌아오기로 결정을 했답니다. 국도를 이용해서 올때도 몰랐던 자연을 유투브에 올리고 싶은 욕심에 차를 세우고 앵글에 담아 보니, 또 다른 뉴질랜드의 자연이 보여 또 한번 오늘 하루에 감사를 해 봅니다. 영상 보시면서 힐링하는 시간 가지시기를 희망합니다.

Orewa Beach and Wenderholm Regional Park, Auckland, New Zealand
Orewa Beach is a very busy urban beach with excellent facilities including the Orewa Surf Life Saving Club catering for a large local population as well as visitors and tourists. It is a generally safe swimming beach with plenty of carparking, a large reserve area, and plenty of tourist accommodation.
Wenderholm Regional Park is the first regional park of the Auckland Region, New Zealand. Situated between the estuaries of the Puhoi River and the Waiwera River, on the east coast of New Zealand's North Island, the park features a homestead known as Couldrey House, and a carved pouwhenua. This park also features the 2 kilometres (1.2 mi) 'Maungatauhoro Te Hikoi' walking track, starting at the carved pouwhenua near the Couldrey House. This walking track allows visitors to see scenic views and birdlife.

Orewa Beach is a 3 kilometre stretch of golden sand just 20 minutes north of Auckland’s harbour bridge. Bordering the picturesque township of Orewa, the beach attracts people from all directions to enjoy the beautiful setting and family-friendly activities on offer.Safe swimming, plus kite surfing, windsurfing, surfing and kayaking. Take the kids to the large playground on the grassy area above the beach. Enjoy a relaxing stroll – early risers can catch an amazing sunrise. Pop across the road to one of the cafés and restaurants with water views. Walk or cycle along the Millennium Walkway, a great way to explore the area. Just a few minutes’ drive from Orewa is Waiwera Thermal Resort, where you can soak in the geothermal hot pools or shoot down the hydroslides. Also close by is Wenderholm Regional Park and its wonderful beach.
