Orford castle, suffolk, UK
It does not look very big, tall yes, but you will be amazed at the amount of rooms etc there are inside. It is a typical fortification, the bedrooms(?) are basic, just enough room for a bed, and the halls are functional. This is not a place for entertaining, it is what it is.... a defensive castle.
Orford Castle Suffolk
Orford Castle is a castle in the village of Orford, Suffolk, England, located 12 miles (20 km) northeast of Ipswich, with views over the Orford Ness. It was built between 1165 and 1173 by Henry II of England to consolidate royal power in the region. The well-preserved keep, described by historian R. Allen Brown as one of the most remarkable keeps in England, is of a unique design and probably based on Byzantine architecture. The keep still stands among the earth-covered remains of the outer fortifications.

Orford Castle Suffolk 12.06.09
Discover one of England's most complete and unusual keeps at this fascinating visitor attraction in Suffolk. The unique polygonal tower keep of Orford Castle, stands beside the pretty town and former port which Henry II also developed here.
Orford Castle is remarkably intact allowing visitors to explore from the basement, through the lower and upper halls to the roof where there are magnificent views seaward to Orford Ness. Owned by English Heritage. Around the rooms is a maze of passages leading to the chapel, kitchen and other chambers in the turrets.
THE FORTRESS OF THE DEAD - ORFORD CASTLE
Here I visit a 12th century castle built by Henry II to suppress rebel lords in rural Suffolk, England.
Unfortunately it was a warm day with many tourists and although I could detect some activity, I was unable to capture any anomalous entities.
Certainly at night I am certain this lovely old building would show lots of activity.
Unfortunately not when it is packed with noisy pensioners and their grandchildren:)
However, the video is interesting and shows every aspect of this fantastic medieval masterpiece.
I hope you will enjoy!

Some 'old' footage (2014) with a quad I no longer have (Xugong 10), filmed on a GPH 3 silver (I no longer have) on a home made gimbal. I reckon the quad/gear/camera came to around £650, now you can get a Mavic Pro with 4k for a few hundred more, how things have changed.
