Lost and Found on Escarpment Track
Mt Cargill has a purpose designed tramping track which is described in local guide book Dunedin Tracks and Trails. However by 2014 the Escarpment track has been badly damaged by fallen trees. Easy to get lost on. Easy to loose things on. In winter 2014 the track was near impossible to follow.
Ross Creek - Dunedin
Ross Creek is only minutes away from the city. Great for walking, mountain biking, dog exercising, running and a great place to visit at any time of day or in any sort of weather. Very popular with University students and connects to tracks up Flagstaff and down to the Gardens.

Lovers Leap Dunedin Walk
Lovers Leap walk is a moderate 2 hour return walk from the Sandymount Rd car park.
It takes you to the spectacular cliffs at the Chasm, the Lovers Leap see arch, huge sand dunes and Sandfly Beach.

Beautiful Otago Bush Walk
4 km out of the centre of Dunedin in Otago New Zealand at 6.30am and not a soul in sight. This is what makes this place so special listen to the river and the birds it is outstanding. This track is called Frasers Gully it gets steep towards the end about 4 kms long.
