The Vladimir Region

The Vladimir Region is located in the northeast of the European part of Russia.

The Church of the Intercession on the Nerl River, a miracle of white-stone architecture, which stands at the water's edge, is an everlasting memorial to the builders of the 12th-century.
Suzdal is a museum city, a fairytale place where history lives and breathes. Every year millions of tourists travel here to see over a hundred monuments from the13th to the 15th centuries.
In summer, pilgrims from all over the world come to the city of Murom in honour St Peter and St Fevronia, the patron saints of family life.
