1) Langlois - Eteveneaux Cottage and Akaroa Museum = Built 1840, The oldest house in Akaroa town, and probably in Canterbury. 2) Akaroa Court House = Seat of justice in Akaroa town from 1880 until 1979. The Akaroa Court House is now part of the Akaroa Museum. A lot Historic things inside the house and also have a Short Film that you can watch to have a brief history of the town. 3) Orion Powerhouse Gallery = Formely a Power House, is now a venue for concert and exhibitions. 4) Akaroa Lighthouse = Completed in 1879, this Historic landmark was relocated from the head to Akaroa on 4th October 1980. 5) The Gaiety = Built in 1879 by the Oddfellows as a public hall for Akaroa 6) Coronation Library = The Library of the Literary and Mechanics Institute. 7) St. Patrick's Church = Site of the first mass in the South Island by Bishop Pompallier, built 1864. 8) St. Peter's Anglican Church = built in 1863. 9) Peninsula War Memorial 10) Windermere - Historic House 11) Chez La Mer - Heritage House 12) Madeira Hotel - Heritage House 13) The Giants House - Heritage House
