About us
A South American couple with one foot in the Middle East, who’ve reached their mid-30’s and decided to get married, sell everything and travel the world. In February 2015 they left Dubai with a guitar and their backpacks filled with excitement for the unknown. We have no clue where or when we will stop, but we are learning every day that life happens right here and right now, and that living in the present moment is the key to true happiness!
Orkhon Valley Mongolia
Our Trip to the Orkhon Valley for the Yak Festival. It is about 400kms from Ulaanbaatar, a rough 7hr+ drive through some beautiful scenery. We stayed in the ger in the film with a traditional herder family. Hot sunny days and cold clear nights. The river is stunning and ice cold. The Yak Festival was held further up the Valley about a 10min drive from our ger.

It is situated 22km from Tsetserleg on a bank of Khoid Tamir River in Ikhtamir Soum, Arkhangai Aimag. Taikhar Chuluu is 18m-high cliff of granite. This cliff was formed by separating from the river bank due to millions of years’ continual flow of Khoid Tamir River through granite cape on its northern bank. Over 150 inscriptions in various scripts including Turkic, Uyghur, Mongolian, Tibetan, Manchu and Chinese were engraved on the cliff, but most of them seem to have barely appeared as time passes. Tuvkhun khiid
A remote mountaintop monastery built by the first Bogd Gegen of Mongolia, the famed Zanabazar, as a retreat center. It is in the mountains near the ancient city of Kharkhorin, the capital of the Great Khans, in central Mongolia. This beautiful monastery complex is situated on a forested rocky mountain, on the boarder of Uvurhangai and Arhangai provinces.
Enlightened Bogd Gegeen Zanabazar chose the place to build a monastery in 1648, when he was 14 years old. The construction of the monastery started in 1651. He made his famous creations in the monastery.
In 1688 because of Oirad and Khalkh, the soldiers of Oirad destroyed the monasteries. In 1773, the monastery restored. In 1992, it was taken under the state protection and government donated and rebuild the monastery.
Today, there are special formation of rocks which are called womb and cradle, symbolizing rebirth, besides 4 temples and 2 stupas.
