Orr Hot Springs in Montgomery Woods State Park
This is one of my favorite Hot Spring resort. It is hidden in the midst the mountain in Montgomery Woods State Park. I had 2 nights retreat here on my road trip down the Northern Coast of California. Definitely worth a return when I'm in that area.

Hot Springs in San Bernadino National Forest, California USA
...If you like hot springs that are tucked away in nature you can join me in this (super dorky experimental video I took of myself with a $20 camera off ebay). In this short 3 min. video I take a walk through the San Bernadino National forest to some hidden and remote Hot Spring pools. The river is ice cold but the floor of the river bed is hot! There are several pools with different temperatures situated within the Rocks surrounding the area. More from my blog here
California Adventures: Burney Falls/Hunt Hotsprings
Both Burney Falls and Hunt Hotsprings are hidden gems in Northern California. Burney Falls is 130 ft. high with a constant flow rate of 380 million liters per day! Hunt Hotsprings are a little more off the beaten track and a bit of an adventure to get to. You may encounter some weirdos along the way but the thermal pools along the river are an amazing place to relax.

Sykes Hot Springs
A trail run of the Pine Ridge Trail from Big Sur to Sykes Hot Springs in the Ventana Wilderness. On the return trip, I took the Terrace Creek Trail (old growth redwoods and cascading stream) and Coast Ridge Road (excellent views of the Pacific Ocean and Ventana Double Cone). Total mileage was 22 miles.

Clint's Ride Club To Jacumba Hot Springs 7th Annual!!!
We took the 8 East to Old Highway 80 and through a few very small towns until we got to Jacumba Hot Springs And Spa, in Jacumba, Ca. We all checked into our rooms and immediately walked to the market to get water and snacks for our rooms for later that evening. The Wick Hauser Band performed for us on the patio for three hours. Thanks so much to them for putting on a great show. Most of us had dinner while we watched them play and then at 7pm, we started Cocktail Karaoke. That went until midnight and while many of us hung out in the bar there were folks hanging out in the mineral spa, hanging out in their rooms off and on and some just chilling in the restaurant. It's all very close together so you're not far from whatever you choose to do with your time. (During the day my buddy Mike allowed me to ride his BMW S1000RR. He and another friend of ours Clark, helped us film it. That video is coming up next so look for it.THAT BIKE IS FAST and it scared the crap out of me! ) The next morning pretty much everyone had breakfast at the resort before heading back home. Thanks to Jacumba Hot Springs Resort , The Wick Hauser Band and Coffee Corner for always supporting our rides and to everyone who came out this year. You make it what it is...FUN!

Daniel Vitalis @ Wilbur Hot Springs ~ part 1/2
Wilbur Hot Springs! Just 2.5 hours North East of the Bay, this is a great place to take a break from city living, or for anyone who loves to Spring Jump around the World! This Water is Raw, Alive, and untreated, and flows into the pools (the fluminarium as this style is called) just as they flow from the Earth. There is a bit of a cooling that is allowed before they enter the pools so as to prevent serious burns, but no chlorination, ozonation or any other denaturing technology is used!
This is a truly unique source, rich in both Sulfur and Sodium Chloride, as well as.... something unidentified. I am guessing it is a naturally occurring Pertroleum Oil of some kind. It leaves a silky coat on your skin, and adds dramatically to the exotic experience of Wilbur's enchanted grounds.
There is a 140 degree F hotspring gyser that erupts every 44 minutes, and over 1,800 acres of private nature preserve to explore. The valley is totally concealed from civilization, and its nestled into its Napa Valley-like hills are the solar panels that power this off grid facility.
There is a gigantic public commericial sized kitchen, and as a guest you are given your own cubard and refridgerator shelf. This means that no matter what your diet you can take care of yourself in a very comfortable environment!
Also, unlike some of the other Hot Springs I visited in California, Wilbur has the feel of the Sacred without being the culty experience of some of the Hot Spring churches (legal spiritual communities) around the State.
The grounds have been decorated in a Zen theme that creates an ideal blank canvass for you to paint your own experience upon!
In the gift shop they sell the dehydrated salts of the Waters there, which have now found their way into my kitchen at home!
Enjoy these videos, and visit these springs as soon as you can!
Harbin Hot Springs- A Community Clearing, Healing, and Wisdom Harvest from the Valley Fire
tinyurl.com/soulgiftnetwork/ is where you can register to attend the live online video event Tuesday Sept 15 at 12:00PM PST.
This clearing, healing, and sharing event is designed to empower all of us to lead a creative lifestyle of freedom. We'll be anchoring our clearing and learning around the example of the Harbin Hot Springs residents whose home and work was taken in the Valley Fire a few days ago. Witnessing their courage, we learn from this event. Clearing the trauma and fear, we grow stronger together. Garnering the wisdom of acceptance, optimism, and community team work, we remember how to live as co-creative bohemian-style livers outside the box.
