Ortega Falls Hike Off Highway 74 in Lake Elsinore
Ortega Falls is a spectacular seasonal waterfall that is located only a tenth of mile off Highway 74 above Lake Elsinore. This waterfall is easy to get to and family friendly, but it only really flows after a good rain. When there is no water it is a popular spot for rock climbers in the area.

Hike to Bonita Falls - Southern California Waterfall
Bonita Falls are a set of waterfalls in the San Bernardino National Forest, formed by Bonita Creek. It is the second tallest in the national forest, being surpassed only by Big Falls. These two waterfalls are reputably the tallest in southern California.
The falls are usually flowing year-round and the lower falls are reached via a popular, approximately 3/4 mile hike (each way). The first 1/2 mile follows the South Fork Lytle Creek wash to a side trail that takes you approximately 1/4 mile to the base of the falls.
The trailhead for the falls is an unsigned turnout parking area along Lytle Creek Road, one mile past the Front Country Ranger Station in Lytle Creek. A National Forest Adventure Pass is required to park there and on summer weekends it can fill up early. The Adventure Pass and a map to the falls are available at the ranger station. .

Santa Ana Mountains Cleveland National Forest Lake Elsinore California
The Santa Ana Mountains are a short peninsular mountain range along the coast of Southern California in the United States. They extend for approximately 61 miles (98 km) southeast of the Los Angeles Basin largely along the border between Orange and Riverside counties. The Santa Ana River flows through the northern part. Santiago Peak at 1734 meters is the highest point located northwest of Lake Elsinore, from where this video was filmed. There are year round streams with water in the higher parts of the mountain range. The mountains were named by the expedition of Spanish explorer Gaspar de Portolà. The indigenous peoples that lived in this region were the Tongva in the north, the Acjachemen in the west and Payomkowishum in the east and south. Mountain Lion, Black Bear, deer, coyotes, lizards, rattlesnakes, and many other species of animales as well as plants live here. Even Grizzly Bears lived here in times past. Te Mountains are ringed by urbanity with Lake Elsinore on the east, Corona, Norco , Chino and Chino Hills California on the north. Yorba Linda, Tustin, Irvine, Lake Forest, and Mission Viejo on the west. Wildomar, Murrieta, San Juan Capistrano and Camp Pendleton Military Base on the south. facebook.com/rishayan
