In this video we take a tour of the Osaka Aquarium to see what it has to offer. Going into this I only knew that they housed whale sharks which are the biggest shark known to exist today. It turned out to be an amazing aquarium but it also has some creatures that probably shouldn't be in captivity.

We don't really like aquarium but there is one in Osaka and since we were there for the day so it doesn't hurt to visit. We ended up spending more times there than the original plan and were sadly to leave so we can catch the bullet train on time to get back to Tokyo.

The Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan is an aquarium located in the ward of Minato in Osaka, Japan, near Osaka Bay. It is one of the largest public aquariums in the world.
The walk-through aquarium displays marine life in several habitats comprising 27 tanks in 16 main exhibits with a total volume of 10,941 tons of water. The habitats are from the Ring of Fire area of the Pacific Ocean. The largest tank is 9 metres (30 ft) deep and holds 5,400 cubic metres (190,699 cu ft) of water and a variety of fish including manta rays and 2 whale sharks.

Aside from all the people and their voices this is a peaceful place you can watch the sea life for hours! Turn the volume down and play your own music or listen to it at is it.

You can see giant rays, the strange mola mola aka ocean sunfish, the Pacific whitesided dolphins, guitar fish (mix between ray and shark), hammer shark, saw sharks, blacktip shark, a large school of sardines, colorful jelly fish, and even a large ray carrying a fish!
