A highrise museum that stands on the remains of the ancient Naniwa-no-Miya Palace. The permanent exhibition introduces “Osaka city's” history and culture from ancient times to today through models and actual artifacts. There is a wealth of experiential learning and guides of the palace remains provided through volunteer work.

Welcome! What you are looking at is a former Universal Studios, Halloween Horror Night, Walt Disney World actor/worker youtuber here. I really want to show the world to you! I was pretty inspired by Adamthewoo to get out and start making videos, and now I've left America to do just that. Now I'm out in Osaka, Japan. Living daily life in Japan. But I make adventure videos of exploring strange Japanese locations, theme parks like Universal Studios Japan, and generally showing off life as an American Abroad Jvlogging in Japan. As well I like to make Jvlogs about life in Japan. As I am a former scareactor at Halloween Horror Nights in Florida, I am very interested in the strange side of Japanese culture. Ghosts, Yokai, the Japanese equivlent of Oujia boards, abandoned Japanese buildings, and Japanese haunted houses like the one at Fuji Q Highland it's the longest one in the world!

The Osaka Museum of History (Ōsaka Rekishi Hakubutsukan) opened in 2003 in a tall building next to NHK Osaka and just across the street from Osaka Castle. The top floor of the building affords excellent views of the castle.
The exhibitions of the museum are visually oriented with some large models. They chronicle the history of Osaka's, beginning in ancient times when Osaka was Japan's first capital city and site of the Naniwa Palace and ending with exhibits on the city's busy and vibrant shopping arcades of the early Showa Period.
The museum's collection is placed on the upper floors of the building while there is a restaurant, shop and spacious lobby on the lower floors. Museum visitors first take the elevator to the top floor and then go down according to the exhibition route.
Hours: 9:30 to 17:00 (closing at 20:00 on Fridays)
Addmission until 30 minutes before closing time
Closed: Tuesdays (or following day if Tuesday is a national holiday)
December 28 thru January 4
Admission: 600 yen
