Kanou | Kansai
Skip to the bottom if you just want to know our itinerary!
Kanou or 可能 means possible. When my good friend, Josh, came to Japan to visit, I was ecstatic. Always nice to see friends from home. But in Josh-like fashion, he tells me a mere 3-4 days beforehand, forcing me to cancel my Nagoya plans and create a Kansai itinerary instead. Hey, all good man, always down for spontaneous. Anyways, during the course of our trip, I was looking through old photos from our freshman year and stumbled upon our first photo together - the day we met ( Shoutout to Apple for saving the dates when pictures were taken. Aye). Who knew the weekend of his holiday break at his uni in Australia was during our 2nd friendversary? Totally unplanned, always spontaneous. By looking at our first photo together from two years ago, I thought damn, life is a trip. Two years ago, the me would have never thought I'd be living in Japan and meeting friends halfway across the world. The same goes for Josh with his life in Australia. We broke our bubbles and it took us places. We're broke, but it allowed to us feel that the world gives so much opportunities even if we had so little. So friends, fams, pop your bubble. Heeey. そのことは可能ですよ。
