Gustav Vigeland (1869-1943) was a Norwegian sculptor. He is most associated with the Vigeland Sculpture Arrangement in this video, in Frogner Park, Oslo. He was also the designer of the Nobel Peace Prize medal.

When you visit in Norway particularly in Oslo, dont forget to include Vigeland Park in your itinerary - world's largest sculptured park made a by single artist located in Frogner Oslo Norway and it is considered as one of the most visited tourist attractions in Norway. The park has more than 200 different designed sculptures uniquely made by a popular artist named Gustav Vigeland from 1939 - 1949 where the Park was named after him. Gustav was also responsible for creating the outline of the whole park.

Sculpture park in the Frogner Park with more than 200 sculptures by Gustav Vigeland in bronze, granite and cast iron.
Vigeland was also responsible for the design and architectural outline of the park, which is one of Norway's top tourist attractions, with more than one million annual visitors.
The park is free to enter and open all year round, 24 hours a day.

Oslo Skulpturenpark - Vigelandsanlegget Frognerpark Vigelandpark
Der Vigelandsanlegget (deutsch Vigeland-Anlage), auch Vigeland-Skulpturenpark oder Vigelandpark, befindet sich im Frognerpark in Oslo, Norwegen.
Der Vigelandsanlegget zeigt 212 Stein- und Bronzeskulpturen des norwegischen Bildhauers Gustav Vigeland, die in den Jahren von 1907 bis 1942 entstanden sind. Zahlreiche Skulpturen symbolisieren den Kreislauf des menschlichen Lebens. Unter anderem zeigt der sogenannte „Monolitten“ die Entwicklung vom Embryo über das Kleinkind und weiter alle Lebensstadien, die ein Mensch durchlebt.
Der gesamte Komplex ist eine monumentale Figurensammlung aus Naturstein und Bronze. Der Skulpturenpark entstand in den Jahren von 1923 bis 1943 und wurde entlang einer langen, aufsteigenden Achse im Frognerpark angelegt.
