(4K) The Most Amazing Japanese Traditional Autumn Festival and Food 2019 | 掛川祭り静岡県掛川市
The Kakegawa Festival, which retains the tradition of the castle town, is a joint festival of 7 towns and 41 towns in the center of Kakegawa Station in the beginning of October every year. Today, it is not limited to shrine-level festivals, but it is characterized by seven shrines as one festival, and it is a festival that you can enjoy and entertain. Backed by the Kakegawa Castle towering in the autumn sky, gorgeously decorated flats walk through the towns, and the city is dyed in a festive atmosphere with the dynamic tone of the lions.
During the festival, Ujiko wears a coat that dyes the symbols of each town. The happi coat is a clan of each shrine and a costume proud to belong to each town.
And don't forget about 100 stalls that have opened stores!
The food stalls that you can eat while surrounded by performances can only be enjoyed at Japanese festivals.

A good rainy day outing, this 7000m2 indoor park houses many species of birds which fly freely throughout the enclosure, including owls, parakeets, conures, toucans, penguin, emu and assorted waterfowl. Visitors are encouraged to touch and interact with the birds, and there are opportunities to feed various kinds of bird, see owl, falcon, and eagle flight shows, and get souvenir photos with penguins.
The park allows outside food for picnics, or serves a lunch buffet for 1380 yen. Adults 1050, Children 525.
