On the bus with Otter Rafting Adventures. After an exciting day of riding the waves, the fun had to be carried on the shuttle ride back to Sundre. The Red Deer River can lift your spirits but doesn't help hit those high notes.

bison escape.3GP
So yesterday was an eventful morning at the ranch. We woke with a neighbor who told us the bison had escaped & were in his yard. By the time John got dressed & out the door they were about a mile up the road. Unfortunately I didn't get the earlier parts of this event where the our cowboys were trying to herd the beasts in by yelling yaw yaw as they attempted to drive them back home. Unfortunately once bison escape its next to impossible to get them back home & it often ends unpleasantly. Fortunately for us they have been exposed to sweet feed in a bucket which is like chocolate for most of us! John & Scott were able to lead them back to pasture with a simple bucket of sweet feed. Mischief managed.
