Giant Slab Crappie Fishing (Oklahoma)
We went fishing at Neosho River just below the Pensacola Dam in Disney, Oklahoma. We did catch a few slab crappies because the water is just too high and it is hard to catch crappies from shore.
Neosho River is a tributary of the Arkansas River in eastern Kansas and northeastern Oklahoma in the United States. Its tributaries also drain portions of Missouri and Arkansas. The river is about 463 miles (745 km) long, it is part of the Mississippi River watershed. Its name is an Osage word meaning clear water.

Oklahoma Bigfoot in Atoka County
Oklahoma Bigfoot in Atoka County // Welcome to Rothline on YouTube where we explore, investigate, and enjoy traveling, visiting sites, reliving stories, discovering history, and going on adventures.
On the 8th of February 2008 a Bigfoot sighting in Atoka County, Oklahoma was reported to the North American Wood Ape Conservancy. During the Spring of 2007 a family that had a farm in the town of Tushka in Atoka County dealt with heavy rains and an ape-like creature.
They first encountered the creature when they noticed their horses avoiding a grove of trees where the horses normally grazed. The mother decided to investigate and she saw an ape-like creature with white fur. The creature was about six feet tall and stood on two legs but ran off as the mother approached.
A couple of weeks later the two sons saw the white creature under a tree in the front yard. When they approached the creature growled and then ran. The creature ran on two legs across the pasture, and jumped a fence. Then the creature began running on all fours and headed into the woods.
The next day, the family went to investigate. The pasture had a trail of bent over grass and weeds that they followed to the Muddy Boggy River Bottom which is half a mile from their farm. They found prints in the mud near the river of hands, feet, and knuckles about the size of a large human or an ape.
The next few weeks passed without incident except for the rain, but a week later at night when the mother stepped into the front room of the house when she saw the creature through the front window. The mother was startled and apparently so was the creature because it ran off after being spotted.
After two months the rain subsided and the family never saw the creature again.
The family reported the sightings and Jerry Hestand a Bigfoot researcher investigated. Hestand believed the family to be honest and reliable, but was unable to retrieve any physical evidence of the creature’s presence in the area. He believed the creature might have been trapped in the area near the family’s farm due to the river flooding.

Driving through Eufaula, Alabama
Eufaula is the largest city in Barbour County, Alabama, United States.
In 1963, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers created Walter F. George Lake (unofficially named Lake Eufaula) behind the lock and dam of Fort Gaines, Georgia, once again assuring Eufaula's importance as an inland port.
In the early 1960s, the United States Coast Guard set up an Aids to Navigation Team in Eufaula that is still active today servicing from Columbus, Georgia, to Apalachicola, Florida, and the Flint River.
In 1964, the Eufaula National Wildlife Refuge was established along Lake Walter F. George to serve and protect many endangered and threatened species such as the American bald eagle, the American alligator, the wood stork and the peregrine falcon. The refuge is a major tourist attraction for visitors from around the country.
On March 3, 2019, a tornado hit the city as part of a larger tornado outbreak.

Oklahoma Bigfoot in Catoosa
Oklahoma Bigfoot in Catoosa // Welcome to Rothline on YouTube where we explore, investigate, and enjoy traveling, visiting sites, reliving stories, discovering history, and going on adventures.
Catoosa Oklahoma is known for its iconic Route 66 landmark: The Blue Whale. But Catoosa has also had Bigfoot sightings. The most well known sighting occurred in 2002 on the 21st of November around 7:30 in the morning.
An employee at a dental office looked out a window and saw a Bigfoot. This Bigfoot was dark brown, nearly 7 feet tall, and walked beside an old abandoned house. The witness reported the sighting on the 9th of October 2003 to the North American Woodape Conservancy.
Daryl Colyer a Field Operations Coordinator for the Conservancy investigated. Due the amount of time between the sighting and the reporting no physical evidence or footprints were able to be collected. The witness told the investigator that the creature had a swayed back, took long strides as it walked, and swung its arms widely. The creature resembled an ape but walked more upright like a human.

Tulsa Oklahoma Abandoned Interstate - Abandoned Places
Click here to SUBSCRIBE for free!
Abandoned Interstate Tulsa OK is a drone vlog. Exploring abandoned places in Oklahoma isn't hard if you know where to look. Right in here in Tulsa, OK we have a handful! This stretch of abandoned Oklahoma interstate is roughly 1.5 miles long and is easily accessible to the public.
A link of google maps will be found at the bottom of the description!
My friend Jose from JRT productions and his cohort Natalie joined me on an adventure with our drones, DJI Phantom 4 and DJI Spark to get some great footage of this abandoned stretch of interstate 44. This is one of the coolest abandoned places in Oklahoma you'll find because it's easy to get to and also a piece of Tulsa history. There are still signs and markers up in places as if the road were still used.
Where some things have changed over the years (the pine street bridge was removed) for the most part, the road is just as it was when it was decommissioned after a new turnpike was constructed to take traffic around the south side of Tulsa.

BE BIGGEST!

Picher, Oklahoma, abandoned town, EPA superfund site, sinkholes - from a drone's perspective
Picher is a ghost town and former city in Ottawa County, Oklahoma, United States. This was a major national center of lead and zinc mining at the heart of the Tri-State Mining District.
More than a century of unrestricted subsurface excavation dangerously undermined most of Picher's town buildings and left giant piles of toxic metal-contaminated mine tailings (known as chat) heaped throughout the area. The discovery of the cave-in risks, groundwater contamination, and health effects associated with the chat piles and subsurface shafts resulted in the site being included in 1980 in the Tar Creek Superfund Site by the US Environmental Protection Agency. The state collaborated on mitigation and remediation measures, but a 1996 study found that 34% of the children in Picher suffered from lead poisoning due to these environmental effects, which could result in lifelong neurological problems.[4] Eventually the EPA and the state of Oklahoma agreed to a mandatory evacuation and buyout of the entire township. The similarly contaminated satellite towns of Treece, Kansas and Cardin, Oklahoma were included in the Tar Creek Superfund site.
A 2006 Army Corps of Engineers study showed 86% of Picher's buildings (including the town school) were badly undermined and subject to collapse at any time.[5] The destruction of 150 homes by an EF4 tornado in May 2008 accelerated the exodus. On September 1, 2009, the state of Oklahoma officially dis-incorporated the city of Picher, which ceased official operations on that day. The population plummeted from 1,640 at the 2000 census to 20 at the 2010 census. As of January 2011, only six homes and one business remain, their owners having refused to leave at any price. Except for some historic structures, the rest of the town's buildings were scheduled to be demolished by the end of the year. One of the last buildings, which had housed the former Picher mining museum was destroyed by arson in April 2015. Fortunately, its historical archives and artifacts had previously been shipped elsewhere.
Picher is among a small number of locations in the world (such as Gilman, Colorado, Centralia, Pennsylvania, and Wittenoom, Western Australia) to be evacuated and declared uninhabitable due to environmental and health damage caused by the mines the town once serviced.

TEXOLA OKLAHOMA-GHOST TOWN-DOUBLE D RV PARK-HOW MUCH LONGER?-EP33
We stopped for a 2 day stop at the Double D RV Park in Texola Oklahoma to be in position for the first ever “2018 RV Nomad Fest Rally we were going to.
We actually ended up staying only one day, because we got ants in our pants, emailed the Nomad Fest rally officials, offered to join the volunteer helper pool” and were instructed to point the bus southward and show up ASAP.
As we bummed around looking at the obvious “ghost town in the making” happening right in front of our eyes, Sue was busy clicking photos and taking video’s. I remember thinking to myself, how the heck is she going to make those photos and video look like anything interesting that someone would want to look at?
I love what she came up with. See what you think. I hope you do too.
