Christopher Columbus benannte sie nach dem Wochentag (Dominica), an dem er die Insel entdeckte.

Cathedrale Our Lady of Fair Haven von Roseau.
Römisch-katholische Kirche.
Bischof James Morris weihte die Kathedrale im Jahre 1925 ein.
Über dem Haupteingang sind drei Heiligenfiguren.
An beiden Seiten vom Altar befinden sich hübsche Fensterbilder.

Dominica Drone Flight: Dominica, officially the Commonwealth of Dominica, is an island republic. The capital, Roseau, is located on the leeward side of the island. It is part of the Windward Islands in the Lesser Antilles archipelago in the Caribbean Sea. The island lies south-southeast of Guadeloupe and northwest of Martinique. Constantinian Order 2014 - Official Visit to Dominica
A high level delegation of the Sacred Military Constantinian Order of Saint George paid an Official Visit to the Commonwealth of Dominica from 4–6 November 2014 at the invitation of the country’s Prime Minister.
The main purpose of the high level visit was to publically announce the creation of a permanent Order Delegation for the Caribbean, and to launch a number of significant charitable projects on the island including the restoration of the historic Our Lady of Fair Haven Cathedral and the rebuilding of the Diocesan Youth Centre in Roseau.
