The Schoenstatt Sisters: Who We Are
The Schoenstatt (Beautiful Place) Movement was founded by
Fr. Joseph Kentenich in the Rhine River Valley of Germany on October 18, 1914 because of his un-ending love and devotion to the Virgin Mary. More than a century later, his work continues.
With its international headquarters in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the Schoenstatt Movement is dedicated to the re-connection of the Catholic faith with daily life.

Shrine Discernment Day 2012 - Schoenstatt Movement of Austin
We are standing inside the outline of where the actual Shrine will be built. We buried our Capital of Grace papers there in the soil, giving thanks for what we have received and offering our efforts and gifts back to the Blessed Mother. When we dig up the soil to build the Shrine, the box will be placed into the Shrine's foundation.
