Survival GILL NETTING (Usually ILLEGAL!) | Rare Underwater Footage
I test out the cheapest fishing survival gill net on Amazon in a private stocked pond. Originally, we tried to fish out all our trout, but this got to be quite the job since the fish shied away from worms, and lures (preferring pellet feed). As the season wore on, we decided to try to bowfish, spearfish and now, since it iced over, gill net the pond in effort to harvest all our stocked fish.
I will show you rare underwater video from a go pro of a fish actually being caught in the gill net. I will teach you exactly how to hang and use a gill net to catch fish and the size of the mesh you should use. Should you ever find yourself in a survival situation, a gill net is a huge asset. This gill net is super illegal in most areas, so please be careful using them. Even better, let me test out the gill net! If the nets are legal in your area, you might want to have one nearby in case you are in a survival situation. My Gear (Shop and Support):
I will use an ice auger to drill a channel right through the middle of the pond. Next, we put the gill net underwater. One end of the gill net has floats, the other sinkers, so the idea is to float the gill net in the water column and the fish will try to swim by and get caught in the net and twist all around getting more and more caught up.

Man stabbed '18 times in 25 seconds' on train
A security camera shows the moment Lee Pomeroy was stabbed 18 times in 25 seconds, on a train from Guildford to London in January.
The Old Bailey sat in silence during the graphic clip of the quick and frenzied attack on a train from Guildford to Waterloo.
The 51-year-old was stabbed by fellow passenger Darren Pencille on 4 January.

Blu Smith
As a young man, Blu Smith worked as a sign painter and commercial artist, developing his accuracy and precision in painting. However, it was these attributes that Smith came to find restricting -- his mature style as an abstract painter began as an exercise to free himself from the technical restraints of realism. Non-representational work became a creatively freeing direction that evolved his unique voice as an artist.
I look at my paintings not as individual pieces but rather as a living, breathing and constantly changing body of work. It really does take on a life of it's own, Smith says about his process. His subject matter is based on organic shapes with strong ties to nature, balanced with cavernous spaces that are filled with light so as to glow with an atmospheric quality.
Typically, Smith begins with broad washes and textures, pulling out and developing 3D shapes within the structures. He then attempts to resolve the surface with incisive line drawing. My work is about the diversity of two different states, the transitions between the two. The real interest lies in bridging the gap between structure and space, foreground and background, Smith explains.
Smith lives in Victoria, on the west coast of Canada, with his wife and young family. He's exhibited work throughout Canada, Europe and the U.S. for several years.

The location of this silliness is widely known as McKinley Park. Thousands of people enjoy the park weekly during the summer months. On any
given day, one can see people jogging, walking pets, picnicing, searching for one of the multiple GeoCache spots, getting married in the large
rose garden, or performing the informal rite of passing for Sacramentans: feeding the ducks. The duck pond is actually teeming with
turtles someone dumped, gulls (that look exactly like seagulls but there's no such animal as a seagull. Really. See my Got Gulls? video if
you doubt me), a couple comerants, mystery fish (Someone claimed a pet alligator was dumped there that was snapping up ducklings by the
score. The pond was drained but nothing big and mean was found except unidentified 3-foot long fish) and geese. Around the pond are
crows, squirrels of the typical SacTown ilk (ie likely to hop up on your picnic table and eat with you), fearless pigeons, and kids with parents
throwing stale bread at ducks. I've grown up and want more entertaining company on two legs so the geese and I get along just ducky
(Groan.)
Where the idea for this came from is lost to mankind. I feed things by hand; that's my nature. I don't generally feed anything other than myself with my face. Also, the Ritz Cracker bit is odd since they are neither stale nor longer than a strip of stiff bread. I picked them up and knew that was what I wanted to use. The first video was also my first gonzo clip, shot entirely with one hand holding the camera to my face while talking to it or aimed at some vague guess of where my mouth would be when a goose got brave. This time however, I was prepared with a Nikon D90 camera, tripod, remote trigger, off-camera lighting (wasn't needed), filters, Band-aids (nah, just kidding), and multiple lenses. There were extensive test shots and far more garbage than I needed to be carrying around: I had recently torn up my left knee and was in a walking brace from ankle to thigh. But, once you get the urge, who can resist a goose kiss in the morning mist when I insist?
Stills taken from the same morning are in my Red Bubble gallery. Just remember, THIS IS NOT TO BE ATTEMPTED. (My face looks bad already so a few nasty gashes in it will hardly matter none... Hehehe!)

A news helicopter saved the day after it found a stolen car with a missing toddler in the back seat in Kansas City earlier in the week. The pilot flying the chopper was Gregg Bourdon of KCTV, and he told Inside Edition what happened after the car was discovered. I got the impression that she knew we were there to help her, he said. The terrifying ordeal began at a gas station. Amaya Vester, 3, was asleep in her mom's boyfriend's car when he ran inside the convenience store to buy a drink.

Fallsview Indoor Waterpark Niagara Falls Walkthrough
A walkthrough of the Fallsview Indoor Waterpark in Niagara Falls Canada. This video includes first person view of a couple of the water slides, and walkthrough of the Fallsview indoor waterpark. Fallsview waterpark includes 8 large water slides, four of them use a tube to slide down on called toob tower, the Canadian Plunge water slide where you are put out into a large toilet bowl slide area. There are 2 fast daredevil water slides and Mat racer water slides. The waterpark includes a large wave pool and a warm toddler water play area. The Beach House play area features a Niagara Falls tipping bucket! And lots of slides for kids of all ages. The ride height for the racer slides is 48 inches and the ride height for the tube slides is 42 inches.
