UK: Corbyn heckled and booed in parliament over Salisbury statement
Leader of the Labour Party Jeremy Corbyn is heckled and booed in House of Commons on Wednesday as he responds to the government statement to expel 23 Russian diplomats.
May announced the explusion of the diplomats after Russia missed a midnight deadline to provide answers over attempted assassination of former double agent Sergei Skripal in the UK.
Russia demanded samples of the agent be handed over and warned of repercussions.
Sergei Skripal and his 33-year-old daughter are in critical condition in Salisbury District Hospital after being found unconscious on a park bench on March 4. Police confirmed they are treating the matter as attempted murder by a nerve agent.
The 66-year-old former Russian military intelligence officer was convicted in Russia of supplying MI6 with Russian state secrets. Part way through his jail term, in 2010, he was involved in a spy swap and given refuge in the UK.

Isolation booths in schools is harming our children
Using a plain booth where a child sits facing a wall for hours does NOTHING for their learning, behaviour or mental health.
Why are they being used for children of all ages in some schools and what can we do to change this NOW?

Brexit divided us - but at least we got some sun

When online events group VidCon asked its followers to sum up 2018 in four words, the printable replies went on the lines of “I wanna die thanks” and “please end it now”.
So I’m not going to sell you a pup. It was bad. Thanks to the shambolic handling of Brexit, 2018 was suffocated by a story that split the nation and made Britain a global laughing stock.
But it wasn’t all bad. We had a glorious summer, the royals let a woman of colour into their ranks, North and South Korea agreed to formally end their war, Ireland repealed its abortion ban, England reached a World Cup semi-final and Trump didn’t blow up the planet.
So here are my awards for 2018’s great, good and not-so good...

Banksy made a mockery of arts snobbery by shredding one of his paintings that had just sold for £1million. More people voted to put slab-headed footballer Harry Maguire riding a unicorn on a bank note than Margaret Thatcher.
Nick Clegg, the man who did more to alienate schoolkids from politics by lying about tuition fees, was made a “sir”.
But nothing had us rolling in the aisles more than the two Russian hitmen who poisoned the Skripals, claiming to have been in Salisbury because they were fascinated by the size of its cathedral spire.

There was the auction of Nigel Farage’s National Portrait Gallery painting which failed to attract a single bid.
There was Gareth Southgate’s waistcoat in Russia, which proved that mad dogs and Englishmen do go out in the 90C sun dressed for a wedding.
There was the blimp of the US president flown above London during his UK visit which looked like Donald Trump impersonating Elvis Presley when he’d become so obese he couldn’t control his bowels.
But on a personal level it has to be the closing credits of the abysmal corn-fest that was Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again.

When asked to rate his presidential performance, the humble introvert replied: “I give myself an A-plus”.
To howls of laughter he told the UN General Assembly that his administration had “accomplished more than almost any in the history of our country”.
To much grimacing he told Kim Jong-un that he had a bigger nuclear button than him.
But nothing summed up the ignorant racist philistine more than when he asked, during a discussion on visa limits for people from Haiti and Africa: “Why do we want people from all these sh**hole countries here? We should have more people from places like Norway.”

For any copyright, please send me a message. Boris Johnson has been heckled twice during a difficult visit to flood-hit Yorkshire today. In an expletive-filled rant, an angry voter confronted the Prime Minister at a community centre. It happened just hours after a woman refused to speak to him , and others questioned where he had been for the previous six days. The heckler, at a community centre in Fishlake, shouted: “Everyone’s in poverty – the whole country’s a joke.” In a clip shared by LBC, the man continues: “F*** the government, f*** the council – people are living on the streets, kids are living in the streets, nobody gives a f*** about them. Sort it out.” As he walks away he shouts: “Biggest thieves in the country them.” The Prime Minister was surrounded by aides during the man's angry outburst. In an embarrassing trip for the Tory party leader, he had where've you been? and you took your time shouted at him this morning in Yorkshire. It comes as Mr Johnson faces mounting criticism over his response to the flooding crisis, which has seen hundreds of families forced to flee their homes. It is his first visit to Yorkshire since the flooding hit six days ago - although he has been to Derbyshire, which was also severely hit. You took your time, Boris, one person told Johnson as he walked through Stainforth in South Yorkshire this morning, while another asked him: Where've you been? One women helping the troops with her wheelbarrow refused to talk to the PM. She said: I'm not very happy about talking to you so, if you don't mind, I'll just mope on with what I'm doing. You've not helped us up to press, I don't know what you're here today for. Speaking to reporters at the scene, Mr Johnson said: I perfectly understand how people feel and you can understand the anguish a flood causes. The shock of seeing your property engulfed by water is huge and also the anxiety of what may still be to come and I do thank the emergency services for everything they are doing. The flooding claimed one life last week, when former Derbyshire high sheriff Annie Hall was swept away in Darley Dale. Last night the Prime Minister warned there could be further flooding across the country after chairing a meeting of the Government's emergency committee. Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn said if the flooding had happened in Surrey in the South East, it would have been a very different story. He said Mr Johnson had only called a Cobra meeting on Tuesday after he had written to the Prime Minister demanding one. Speaking at a rally in Blackpool, Mr Corbyn added: More than a thousand homes have been evacuated and one woman, Annie Hall, has lost her life. Our hearts go out to her family and friends.
