After a short winter break, we're back with more riding; we've taken a small detour from FL and ended up in Bonaire in the Dutch Caribbean.
Today we're riding Wayaká, which is a very techy XC ride, not the fastest type of ride, but really challenging and fun.

Scuba Diving, Sea Kayaking & Caving in Bonaire!
Bonaire is an island off the northern coast of Venezuela, next to Aruba & Curacao. Before my week there, I knew nothing about Bonaire besides the fact that it has world-class diving & is extremely known in the diving communities for its wildlife and longstanding efforts in conservation. While the diving is incredible, I also found that the entire island is a hub for adventure sports, like cave spelunking, sea kayaking, night diving and windsurfing.
The island is also unique culturally from other islands in the Caribbean: it hasn't been over-developed. There are no major resort chains on the island, and all of the hotels still have that smaller 'mom & pop' feel. The island feels remote and relatively untouched, especially being that it's in such a popular destination like the Caribbean.
If you're an outdoor enthusiast and love exploring beautiful places in unique ways, you are going to fall in love with the island of Bonaire as much as I did.
