BUNGAY CASTLE | SUFFOLK
Our third and final castle that myself and Candice explored one weekend is Bungay castle in the lovely village of Bungay in Suffolk near the border with Norfolk.
I accidentally deleted all the footage from that weekend, leaving only the photos and my voice overs, but hopefully it is still an enjoyable and informative watch! This wouldn't of happened too Sir Tony Robinson lol I had a Baldrick moment, so apologies!

This isn’t the first time we’ve visited the site, we came for a week a couple of years ago and it is just how we remembered it. Pete obviously remembered the nice Tench he landed on his last visit and was looking forward to getting back in the water.

Norfolk Paddlers and How to Spot Them
UEA Kayak Club from the University of East Anglia hails from Norfolk, one of the flattest counties in the UK, where access to whitewater is limited.
Despite being a small club, their heart, ambition and determination is huge, and constantly strive to hit the next best rapid and wave, in their boats or not.
Here's a spotters guide to identifying the rare, but certainly not endangered 'Norfolk Paddler' in the wild.

Kayak / Canoe Trail - River Stour :: Cattawade / Flatford / Dedham
Short video showing a fabulous paddle on the River Stour starting at the Cattawade Picnic Site (SatNav CO11 1QW) on the edge of the Stour estuary then heading upstream towards Flatford and onwards to Dedham. At the time of this paddle on 9th December 2016 there was free parking at the picnic site.
For information the River Stour is managed by the excellent River Stour Trust which is led by volunteers dedicated to the restoration and conservation of the River Stour Navigation for the benefit and enjoyment of the public - please do Google their website.
Please see other Kayak / Canoe Trail video's on this channel.
Paddlers should make their own judgement as to whether conditions and their equipment are appropriate and it is safe to paddle. Lifejackets - useless unless worn.
Kayak used - Wilderness Tsunami 140
This video part of a series illustrating some excellent paddles across Essex, Norfolk & Suffolk. Filmed using a WiMiUs camera and edited using Windows Movie maker - apologies offered for quality of video capture and editing ... its only a bit of amateur fun.
