After fighting in the street, the members of the neighborhood teams run to the local port and strip down to jump into an extremely cold sea. Once they managed to drag themselves out of the sea, everyone runs down to the local shrine to offer thanks to the local kami and pray for a good fish harvest. Good times!

Hundreds participated in the Honen Matsuri fertility festival in Komaki on Thursday, a gathering also known as the 'penis festival' where visitors come to worship a gigantic wooden phallus.
Young local men paraded the O-owasegata, a gigantic phallus carved annually for the purposes of the festival.
Visitors are encouraged to touch the wooden phallus since according to tradition it brings a good harvest to farmers and fertility to young couples.
People stood in long lines to pray to wooden phalluses in altars, as others took photos and enjoyed penis-shaped food and candy.
It's not only about people having sex, it's about like nature giving birth to new fruits, but yeah it's equivalent, that's what it's basically saying, that humans are equivalent with nature, a young woman participating in the festivities said.
The festival is said to have been running for over 1,000 years in Japan.

Japan Royalty Sighting - Crown Prince Naruhito
Noticing a gathering commotion on the street outside our office I grabbed my camera and joined the crowd waiting to catch a glimpse of Japan's Crown Prince Naruhito. The road is the Minamikansen which runs between the cities of Shizuoka and Shimizu in Shizuoka prefecture. I asked and was given permission to film by the nice police officer who showed me his badge. He told me that he was brought in from a nearby city especially to help out with crowd control for this event. Nobody could tell me why the prince was in town though the royal family seems to like this area as I have previously seen the both the Emperor and Empress pass along this same road.

To Tsu! 津へ - June 21, 2014
In this video, I feel the need to leave Osaka and head to a new city. I had no expectations as I got on the train. I just wanted to see something new. So I take it to Tsu City, walk around and spend the night. Tsu is located in Mie Prefecture (east of Osaka). I don't discover much, but the temple and the bay were pretty cool to see. The ramen was really good as well. Actually, I want to return to the bay this summer.
P.S. Thank you so much for bearing with me with these videos. I've been falling behind recently. A month delay is way too long. Trying to catch up. I promise I will be more timely. Thank you for all of your comments and support! It's what keeps me motivated to make videos.
