Oxford Places: University Parks
Hi guys, this video is the first in a series of videos in which I show you some great places around Oxford that aren't really related to the university side. This is to show you that Oxford is more than a university, but it's also a great city in which to live. I also hope it'll give those of you who might not get a chance to come on the open days a chance to have a look at some highlights Oxford has to offer. Oxford IHON Gateway: Life in Oxford/Regents Park College
The PLU IHON-Oxford Program is located in the small, culturally diverse city of Oxford, England. Program participants — drawn from PLU’s IHON Program—pursue individualized courses of study in tutorials with Oxford scholars, while also exploring place-based learning with a PLU faculty member.
While it is not quite true that in Oxford, as the writer William Hazlitt sarcastically noted, one is made wiser just by being surrounded by its “streets paved with the names of learning,” and “green quadrangles breath[ing] silence of thought,” this very old city and university are nevertheless inspiring places for PLU students to live and study.

One year in Oxford University Parks
Each time I walked through University parks in Oxford, I took pictures with my phone. Starting in March 2010, I attempted to take picutres of the same view. Some days I walked through more than once, some days not at all. Blink and you might miss Autumn as well as the snow!

Where to go in Oxford City England – Oxford City Tour
With the mix of ancient and modern, Oxford is a famous city of England to visit in vacation. The best well known Oxford University is situated here. Oxford city is known as City of Spires due to the beautiful skyline of Gothic towers and steeples. Many businesses are to be found here whether on one of the Science and Business Parks or within one of a number of residential areas.
Where to go in oxford city? The Oxford University parks, Christ church meadows, the Cherwell and Thames Rivers, Main Bodleian Library complex, and the Ashmolean Museum are the places you must go for it. Watch the video till the end for getting a visiting idea!
