“KANAFAN.TV.”is a project that will communicate information to promote the appeal of Kanagawa, such as about sightseeing in Kanagawa, event information, information on the activities of the Kanagawa International Fan Club, information valuable to foreigners, and more, by inviting foreigners such as international students as reporters and MCs.

Day trip outside Tokyo Hiking Mount Oyama in Kanagawa Tanzawa-Ōyama Quasi-National Park. Mt Oyama is perfect for a road trip or day hike to the mountains in Japan. Hiking in Japan is rewarding be it solo hiking of family friendly hikes you will never forget these adventures. Go hiking in and around Tokyo! Better than always being stuck in the city.

A truly great mountain for beginners.

Mount Ōyama has long been regarded as a holy mountain and object of worship. Religiously motivated mountain climbing has been practiced since the Hōreki era (1751–1764) and the various paths leading there were called Ōyama Kaidō (大山街道 Ōyama Kaidō). Today this name survives as the pseudonym of Route 246.

At the top of the mountain is the head office of the Ōyama-Afuri Shrine (大山阿夫利神社 Ō-yama-afuri Jinja). Lower down the mountain is the lower shrine and the Ōyama-dera (大山寺). Afuri refers to the high amount of rain and clouds associated with the mountain. Farmers pray at Ōyama-Afuri Shrine to the rain god.

飯山観音 - Iiyama Kannon. Atsugi, Kanagawa Japan

飯山観音 - Iiyama Kannon is an 800 year old Koyasan Shingon sect Buddhist temple located in Atsugi, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. Popular in the Kamakura period, this temple was a centre for all embracing studies linking the Shingon sect with the Tendai, Ritsu and Zen sects.

The main hall of the temple was reconstructed in the early Edo period (1600-1868). It enshrines a bronze Juichimen Kannon Bosatsu statue that dates back to the Kamakura period (1185-1333).

Young people looking for a life partner come to the temple to pray to Juichimen Kannon Bosatsu that the Buddhist god will help them to find a partner.

09 KNOTS OVER THE PAST SIX HOURS. ANIMATED ENHANCED INFRARED SATELLITE IMAGERY DEPICTS A CONSOLIDATING SYSTEM WITH IMPROVED CONVECTIVE BANDING.

A 192137Z SSMIS 37GHZ IMAGE REVEALS TIGHTLY-CURVED BANDING WRAPPING INTO A WELL-DEFINED LOW-LEVEL CIRCULATION CENTER (LLCC), WHICH SUPPORTS THE INITIAL POSITION WITH GOOD CONFIDENCE. UPPER-LEVEL ANALYSIS INDICATES A MARGINALLY-FAVORABLE, COMPLEX ENVIRONMENT WITH TWO TUTT CELLS POSITIONED OVER THE NORTH AND WEST QUADRANTS. HOWEVER, THE UPPER-LEVEL ENVIRONMENT HAS IMPROVED SLIGHTLY WITH IMPROVED POLEWARD OUTFLOW, WHICH HAS ALLOWED DEEP CONVECTION TO CONSOLIDATE OVER THE LLCC.

SST VALUES (27-28C) REMAIN FAVORABLE WHILE OCEAN HEAT CONTENT VALUES ARE LOW AND UNFAVORABLE. THE INITIAL INTENSITY IS ASSESSED AT 50 KNOTS, HEDGED ABOVE DVORAK INTENSITY ESTIMATES OF T3.0 (45 KNOTS) BASED ON THE IMPROVED CONVECTIVE STRUCTURE. TS 12W IS LOCATED WEST OF AN EXTENSION OF THE NEAR-EQUATORIAL RIDGE (NER) AND SOUTH OF A STRONG EAST-WEST ORIENTED SUBTROPICAL RIDGE (STR) ENTRENCHED TO THE NORTH.

have participated 2 days and 1 night tour to a tourist spot, Ooyama which is located at the west side of Kanagawa Prefecture.
The entire tour about staying at an historical place, having nice food, praying at a shrine at the peak of the mountain is reported.

新春企画第2弾、伊勢原市の 大山 へのお詣りルート。厚木ICを出て、国道246号、県道63号＋603号611号などを経て、こま参道や大山ケーブルカーの入口にある市営大山第2駐車場まで。紅葉の時期と重なり、混雑。谷あいの参道は駐車場の確保に苦労し、予約ができる民間駐車場があるので、事前に調べていかれるといいかもしれません。
関東の総鎮護 大山阿夫利神社や大山寺の歴史は古く、大山詣りは、江戸時代、鳶などの職人たちが巨大な木太刀を担いで運び、滝で身を清めてから奉納と山頂を目指す他に例をみない庶民参拝で日本遺産に認定されました。
なお、途中で E1A新東名高速道路 や 伊勢原北IC の建設現場を通行。将来に工事中の光景の記録になるでしょう。
