DIVING THE WRECK OF THE SS PRESIDENT COOLIDGE - ESPIRITU SANTO - VANUATU
Ever wondered what it might be like to swim through an underwater museum ? In this clip Paul White from Aore Adventure Sports and Lodge takes us on a tour of cargo holds one and two, medical supply area and the freshwater tanks on the wreck of the SS President Coolidge in Espiritu Santo Vanuatu.
The wreck of the Coolidge is listed to become a world heritage site and you can see why.
I shot this clip as part of an upcoming dive guide for Espiritu Santo, if you are a keen wreck and reef diver I highly encourage you to visit there and sample the world class diving on offer.
Shot with a Panasonic GH4 - 7-14mm Lumix lens.

EXPLORING VANUATU'S beautiful MELE BEACH & a spectacular RIVER DELTA (PACIFIC OCEAN)????️
SUBSCRIBE: - Let's go for a walk along Mele Beach which is situated on the stunning calm waters of Mele Bay with Port Vila's (the capital of Vanuatu in the Pacific Ocean) best and safest sandy swimming beach. It is a great place to base your day to explore Mele and PORT Villa or just relax and enjoy the fantastic views. Only 15 mins from town and very close to the Cascade Waterfalls, Hideaway Island, Wet ‘n’ Wild Adventure Park and other tours and attractions. We will also walk down the beach and admire the spectacular and unusual river delta where the fresh waters from the rivers get dumped into the Pacific Ocean, what a place!!
Vanuatu is a South Pacific Ocean nation made up of roughly 80 islands that stretch 1,300 kilometers. The islands offer scuba diving at coral reefs, underwater caverns and wrecks such as the WWII-era troopship SS President Coolidge. Harborside Port Vila, the nation’s capital and economic center, is on the island of Efate. The city is home to the Vanuatu National Museum, which explores the nation’s Melanesian culture.

Markets in Luganville, Santo, Vanuatu
15.07.08: A slow view of produce for sale at the produce market in Luganville; Santo's largest town. Produce includes bananas, coconuts, wora wo (baskets) holding yams and manioc roots, bundles of taro, nous fruit, breadfruit, laplap leaf rolls and aelan cabbis on the table. Much activity happens under the tables, knock if you require service from the person feeding a child, working or resting below. Many mamas would stay overnight as happens in the Port Vila markets.

Scuba diving in Vanuatu : Million Dollar Point, Espiritu Santo
Million Dollar Point is a quirky and disconcerting shore dive site only 15 minutes driving east from the centre of Luganville, it is the perfect check dive before getting into serious deep wreck diving.
To know all the details about how to go diving in Vanuatu, make sure to read my latest blog post:
Artificial reef or just underwater littering?
As surprising as it may sound, as we went out of the water of 45 minutes, a dugong came to hi! I also saw some octopus, nudibranch and sea anemones which made this historic mess their new home. Certainly to be dived at least once when in Santo!
Thank you so much to Pacific Dive for all the great historical details during the long dive briefing, have a look at their YouTube channel:

Snorkelling Aore Island - Espiritu Santo, Vanuatu

We spent one day snorkelling around Aore Island not too far from the jetty. The ferry to and from the island is free from Luganville. The resort on the beach front does a pretty good pizza and they have WiFi :-)
Aore Island is located in the Sanma Province, Espiritu Santo, Vanuatu.
Мы провели один день просто плавая и разглядывая рыбок около острова Аоре, который всего в 10 минутах от Луганвилля на барже (бесплатно). В ресторане на берегу готовят вкусную пиццу и у них есть WiFi :)

The Million Dollar Point of Vanuatu
Located off the coast of Espírito Santo, an island belonging to the South Pacific nation of Vanuatu, is a vast undersea junkyard of military trucks, jeeps, bulldozers, tractors, unopened boxes of clothing and cases of Coca-Cola create. It’s called the Million Dollar Point, so named for the millions of dollars’ worth of US military
equipment that was dumped in the ocean at the end of the second world war.
Espiritu Santo, Vanuatu, August 2014
We spent 12 wonderful days on Espiritu Santo, the largest island in the Vanuatu archipelago. Diving, hiking, caving, canyoning, kayaking and snorkelling are just some of the activities available in this South Pacific gem. Impressive as its natural attractions may be, it's the charming, relaxed Ni-Vanuatu who make it such a great place to visit.
