This is the complete 9 minute version of 8mm film of the 1963 United States Road Racing Championship, July 20-21 1963 and the Northwest Grand Prix September 28-29, 1963. Featuring lots of shots of vintage race cars including Ferrari GTOs, some of the first Cobras and others. This was shot by a friend of my parents, Tex Steere, who asked me to help convert it for him and has graciously allowed me to post it on YouTube.
Pro3 car racing ICSCC Race 10 Pacific Raceways July 2011 driver Jim Cissell #319
This is a 30-minute sprint race in ICSCC Group 1 at Pacific Raceways in Kent WA July 31, 2011. There were 30 cars in the Pro3 class and about 50 in Group 1. I was gridded 19th overall and finished 16th but was DQ'ed for being 7 pounds underweight. Thanks to coaching from Ryan Hieronymus, my fastest lap was 1:40.664, and I had 9 laps under 1:42, whereas my previous best at PR was 1:42.5. Best of all, I never went off track in the Sunday race and only went off once during the German Challenge Race--going side by side with a Porsche through turn 5A when I hit the diff fluid. A quick view from the grandstands at the 27th annual Pacific Northwest Historics road race held July 4th through the 6th at Pacific Raceways in Auburn, WA--the biggest motorsports event in the northwest. This is the first time Pro3 was invited to the event and 39 cars showed up. This footage was taken after almost two complete laps had been run. Organized by SOVREN--the Society of Vintage Racing Enthusiasts--proceeds benefit Children's Hospital of Seattle.

Notes:
- Location, this was not really talked about much in the video or in the written review but this property is in a good location. It is about equidistant from both the 2 major north-south freeways, I-5 and SR-167. The road that it's located on, 212th St, isn't too busy most of the time. Right next to the property is a Wendy's and a Shell gas station; though, the Wendy's is the only restaurant within walking distance of this place.

Hilarious T-Rex Race Kicks off in Washington State
Is it a horse race? A camel race? It’s a T-Rex race!
Last week instead of a horse race the reputable racetrack, Emerald Downs, located in Auburn, in the Pacific Northwest state of Washington, announced a dinosaur race. A mass of people in oversized T-Rex costumes chaotically and hilariously broke out of a starting gate and onto the tracks. This is the third year in a row Emerald Downs hosted the race.
